In case you are wondering about Johnny Dawg Pound... lol
There's a college quarterback who was already a celebrity before he was even drafted. His name is Johnny Manziel. He's very good, has an incredible energy both on and off the field. His nickname is "Johnny Football." His family was already rich and well known in Texas even before he ever picked up a football as a little boy. Anyway, he has this energy and appeal and like I said, was a celebrity before even entering the NFL draft. Whatever team grabbed him was going to get a buzz in the city and state because his name is Johnny Manziel. Well, my very own, Cleveland Browns drafted him. This was just what my city needed because the buzz is happening, and the sports world in the city has sucked for a while now. This has really awakened the city and there's tons of hope that the Browns will finally get back on track. Why the nickname "Johnny Dawg Pound?" Well, because of this: It even has its own article: Dawg Pound - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia LOL So Johnny Manziel is now Johnny Dawg Pound as he's now a Cleveland Brown player. He even said in his first interview, "Dawg Pound here we come." LOL |

Ugh. He's doing the money thing in the static picture in the first video.

They asked him about that in a later interview and he said he felt he had to because it was expected of him or something like that. It's all for the energy and cameras, this guy didn't even need the money is the irony.
I believe he's going to one of the most down to earth cities in the country... Cleveland. It is the perfect place for him. No way on earth his celebrity will be like it would be in NYC or LA or somewhere insane and out of control like that. I trust my native city of Cleveland. This guy will be adored, no doubt about it, but this city is way too down to earth, blue collar, family oriented and realistic for him to go crazy and get out of control. His family wanted him away from Houston because of the distractions. They instinctively knew Cleveland was a good fit. I believe it is. I can already see him getting a house on Lake Erie in a wonderful, peaceful section of Cleveland. He won't buy a home in downtown Cleveland. It's not possible, people don't live there. He will get a place on the east or west side in a rich but peaceful, neighborhood or area, no doubt, overlooking gorgeous Lake Erie and things will be much more settled down for him. I will be shocked if the opposite takes place. Say what you want about LeBron James but he has the Ohio personality and attitude. He's arrogant because he's LeBron James but you will never catch him getting out of control drinking or doing drugs, he's family oriented, he's "boring" according to many people. While he's not a Cleveland native, he's an Akron native, it's close enough, 40 minutes away, with the same mentality. This is the perfect place for Manziel. LeBron and Manziel are even close friends. I could see that coming into play as Manziel figures out where to live and how to behave, etc. Last edited by jediwands; 05-12-2014 at 08:06 AM |

And Timmy Chandler...who has shown such disinterest is in there. At least Landon is there...thank God! |

It seems like there's basically German clubs and two EPL for European-based.
It appears as if Chandler is one of his favorites. Maybe Chandler shows off his German in front of JK in order to get away not wanting to fly on airplanes or put much work into being on the squad? Landon better have made it. |

Another shocker is no Eddie Johnson.
I read this: Quote:
I think Landon and Clint will take over and Altidore is used (if anything) as a sub unless he starts gaining his form again in practice. |

And yes, Landon could still be cut, but I don't see it. I am not worried. When will the team go down to 23? |

NHL Schedule Tonight
Once again, look at the fricken schedule tonight. Not only is the time a joke, but Wild/Hawks game is shoved on the "lower" national cable network, too. What a fricken joke. I expect this to happen to Minnesota but not Chicago. Chicago is a very big market. Oh and by the way, Chicago makes the New York Rangers and even my very own, Pittsburgh Penguins in talent look like a bunch of idiots. If you go by talent alone, the Chicago Blackhawks team (even with the Minnesota Wild making this series very tight and they're good too) is deeply talented and exciting. The Chicago Blackhawks are the defending Stanley Cup champions, predicted to possibly win it again YET the East Coast bias still rules. Makes me sick. There is nothing about this that is funny. It is so obvious and pathetic. ETA: I love this person: https://espn.go.com/page2/s/list/eastcoastyes.html Oh and by the way, who is already sick of the Derek Jeter is retiring crap? Seriously, this is going to be even more disgusting than usual. Last edited by jediwands; 05-13-2014 at 08:19 AM |
