This is actually SO TRUE.
Which is why the teeny boppers didn't love this show. It was too mature and real. |

![]() It really looked like a forced picture, like at a wedding! ![]() ![]() This picture was obviously from early Season Two. That's what made Everwood unique. The adults got equal, if not more, screen time than the teenagers. That was rare, especially on a WB Show. __________________

The Photo made it seem as it these people were the main characters of the series which is so untrue.
This wasn't a teenie bopper show but a family show. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is interesting that they probably tried to sell it as a typical teen show. It does look VERY forced. ![]() Absolutely regarding the balance between younger and adult character storylines. There was such a perfect balance. I will always believe the network never understood Everwood and didn’t really care it had such high quality. It wanted a target audience it didn’t truly receive EVEN IF it still received great ratings overall. Still wasn’t enough for this rotten network who preferred Joey Potter trash instead. |

![]() It almost looks like they were coupled off too. Amy/Tommy, Laynie/Ephram and even Madison/Bright. ![]() |

![]() I’m trying to think of how old Bright truly is. Did he repeat a grade in the past or did I make that up? At any rate, if he didn’t he’s definitely older than Ephram and Amy. S2 would have Bright at 17/18 years old which is better matching up with Madison’s 20/21. Last edited by jediwands; 03-22-2022 at 12:09 PM |

I don't think that Bright would have skipped a grade. If anything he might have had to repeat a grade. I'm thinking that Bright was at least two years older than Ephram and Amy, possibly three years.

![]() ![]() Yes, repeat a grade... Yes, at any rate, he definitely matched up better with Madison when it comes to actual age than a 15/16 year old Ephram. |

![]() Such a good point. They really were on the same level maturity-wise. They were both immature. If we were forced to see her mug, I would have preferred Bright and Madison by far. |

Nick posted this tweet on another thread.
I love how others mention Everwood on Twitter and what the CW did not picking it up. The network has died a slow and painful death ever since. It is called Karma. |

I was checking out a video on YouTube on how to reset a water heater, and on the side they had other videos that you can watch, and there was a video for the show Seinfeld, and Brenda Strong, who played Julia, played Ellen Mischke, also known as the "Braless Wonder" on one episode of the show!
![]() Here's the clip: I never watched Seinfeld because I thought it was too stupid, but it was amusing to see an Everwood actor in a completely comedic role! ![]() __________________
