Stephanie did an interview in 2009 with myfanbase and said she was still close to some of the cast especially Treat, Merrilyn, and Debra.

At the 2014 reunion in Austin there was a twitter mention of Stephanie and Debra hanging out together and they were together again at the 2017 reunion.

I just have a hard time believing she didn't keep in touch with at least a few cast members even if it's just texting back and forth every so often to catch up.

I'm just waiting for Treat to post something on his twitter.

I keep checking his Twitter as well. Emily hasn't been on her Twitter in ages and Greg doesn't have a Twitter anymore. Treat would be the one to Tweet first you would think... Treat or Berlanti.

Has anyone else thought about why the cast hasn't said anything. You know, once the media finds out about Stephanie's passing, they'll be all over her family for details. Then when you factor in what led to her death and the ultimate cause...the media loves those kinds of stories.

I was just thinking that maybe the cast/crew hasn't said anything or no one has reported on it would be to respect Stephanie's family's privacy and to let them grieve in peace :shrug:

Today an actress who had one small role 40 years ago in the movie Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory passed away and some of the major news outlets announced it, but we still haven't gotten any firm news on Stephanie's passing. I just don't understand it.

:( I don't either. What you just said above describes how frustrating it is that we have not received firm confirmation on Stephanie's passing. Why aren't her family/friends reporting her passing? She was a part of the acting world, this was her calling, her art. It just seems like this news deserves to be out there so Stephanie can be properly mourned and honored for her artistic achievements along with being a wonderful person.

It's just not right.
