But what if the guy didn't know? I mean it's not like Ephram knows aobut Madison and the pregnancy and made a choice to not support her and totally write himself out of it. It's a different story this time around. I think Ephram would be a totally different person, totally different priorities if he knew. But Andy kept it from him. And it was a judgement call that we could debate for years whether it was right or wrong. But the point is, Ephram couldn't react if to the pregnancy (since he didn't know) he had nothing to react to.

But if he did, I'd appeal the relationship from Dr. Abbott's perspective. But I think with Harold coming around to Andy, understanding him not only as a doctor but as a father has helped that way too. And then since Harold pretty much took over Andy's practice with a complete makeover, their relationship is on a good level. But if they were still at odds, I would bet good money Harold would lock Amy up and forbid her to ever see Ephram. He'd homeschool her if need be

I think that Harold appreciated Ephram's attributes and the fact that he made his daughter so happy. I believe in his mind...these factors outweighed Madison's pregnancy. Also, in Harold's mind...Amy was his innocent little girl with the Easy Bake Oven....he didn't believe that she would ever be in the position to have the same problem as Madison! But...as soon as Harold found out that Amy and Ephram were planning the rendezvous at the cabin....that's when his attitude changed big time. He was very very concerned.

Exactly. Harold was willing to put the pregnancy out of mind until he realized that Ephram and Amy could actually be having sex. Then, he freak out in hilarious ways.
