Episode 216 "Unspoken Truths"
Airs Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 9est/8C

When Ephram (Gregory Smith) gets a fake I.D. so that he can get into a bar to see Madison's (guest star Sarah Lancaster) band, he ends up in a bar fight and Andy (Treat Williams) has to bail him out of jail. Meanwhile, Nina (Stephanie Niznik) leans on Andy for emotional support after she is served with divorce papers, but the genuine affection between the two raises a red flag for Linda (Marcia Cross). Finally, Tommy (guest star Paul Wasilewski) takes Amy (Emily VanCamp) to a party where she finds closure over the loss of Colin (Mike Erwin), but the evening takes a life-threatening turn.
Tom Amandes, Debra Mooney and Vivien Cardone also star. Michael Lange directed the episode written by Rina Mimoun & Greg Berlanti.

Ephram having to have Andy bail him out of jail? LOL! That'll make for an interesting scene. I hope Andy doesn't continually blame Madi. The trailer suggests that Madiphram breaks up but I certainly hope not.

As for Nindy, I hope they finally go somewhere. There has been some weird flirty tension throughout the end of last season and some of this season.

Doesn't sound like Tamy will be around much longer. Too bad. Paul is really cute and his character does add another dimension to Everwood.

However, I may be completely wrong about everything because I have learned from past experiences that you can never trust the trailers!

This next eppie should be full of action.

Oh man, what's going on with Everwood? These eppies are getting heavy, man! What happened to the previous season goodness? Oh well, Everwood Addict forever!

suddenly heavy? I thought the whole Colin plot line was heavy.

I thought it was heavy berfore too, but hopefully hwe'll get some lighter stuff.

I don't like Tommay and Amy, so a breakup doesn't upset mme.

I think we are going to see the end of both couples this episode. I can't say that I'm sorry to see either of them go, I can almost tolerate Ephraim and Madison but I really don't like Amy and Tommy, and now that we know he is still a dealer and a user, I'm ready for him to be out of the picture. I'm very interested to see Colin make a surprise appearance. This looks like a great episode.

Oh, it was. But it was also mixed in with some light, fluffy goodness (Doc Brown and Doc Abbot's parries, for example). This season it's all been super-intense. Hopefully they'll lighten it up a bit soon.

hmm good point.

Hello everyone.

-I'm new to watching this show but I have watched the past two episodes. There hasn't been a television show that has really pulled my interest in a little while. I watch charmed and I use to watch Roswell but I just happened to tune in a few weeks ago and the show caught my interest.

-Since I am new to this thread, does anybody have any suggestions as to where I might be able to go to catch up on the past history of the show? Anything that I could read about past episodes so that I am not completely lost? I'm still getting aquainted with the characters on the show but I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that anyone could make. By the way is Everwood in its second season? I wasn't sure. Thanks!

Tonight's show looks interesting! I wonder if Emphram and Madison will be breaking up? Tommy looks like he OD's so I wonder if he is going to die? I'll stop by and chat later.

Bye

hi all!! I've never posted here before, lol. I became an Everwood fan before ThanxGiving. Well, woah!!! is all I have to say about this episode!!! Man, way to leave us hanging

When Amy saw Colin and then for the rest of the episode, I was crying like a little b*tch with a skinned knee.

I miss Colin.

The Colin scene was creepy.

I hated how Ephram acted. I can see Madison and Ephram breaking up and that makes me sad.

What did the title mean? What were the unspoken truths? Andy cares about Nina like a husband would?

Bright is so funny, but have we ever seen him with a girlfriend/date? He's a lot of talk but no action.

Amy is such a ninny. I can't stand the idea of Ephram being in love with her again.

I felt so badly for Ephram when he mentioned wanting his mother to be there.

MissCongeniality 02-23-2004 10:28 PM

First of, I want to say that I love the dads on this show! They were there for their children even though their behavior was disappointing. I was so glad when Harold showed up at the party. I would have been too afraid to call my father...

I already moaned and groaned about E/M over at the Jailbait thread so...I'm proud of Bright for busting out those awesome grades He's on his way.
Oh, I had theorized that an "unspoken truth" could have been that Madison loves Ephram too, but is afraid to say it. Andy is definitely going to lose Linda over his involvement with Nina. He said that things with them would 'never' go past friendship. On this show, I've learned that using the word 'never' is a form of foreshadowing...Let's go Neighbors!Woohoo!

I'm glad Colin made an appearance. Wow, that scene gave me chills. I think Amy will be able to get past her pain better now that she has let him go.

Yeah, I hated being left hanging like that, but that's good television for ya. Does anyone know when the next new one is? I know it's not on next week...
