I dont care about the double posts, I wasnt trying to get mods to change rules or anything, just curious. I can understand wanting to compile posts into separate entries to make it easier, but i just dont understand like the ONE response per post and then six in another etc. Just split it with like 6 and 6 or whatever....

I watched a season 8 episode tonight and it just reminded me of how BORING Nathan was as a character. Like, he drags Haley down so much, its sad.

For me the problem with seasons 6-8 were really that nothing was going on storyline wise. Like, every episode seemed to be just characters talking and mostly it was 2 characters are a time all split up into different scenes. It just got boring to watch. I think season 9 was better because they had an overall storyline with Nathan's kidnapping that iMO made it more interesting to watch.

Chad appearing only once, I'm still mad about him just being at the airport and only taking Jamie.
That was so lame. Like, why the HELL wouldnt they have written him in scenes with James? Come on. So annoying.

I never use Facebook. I hated that so many people I never even liked in high school suddenly tried contacting me. I just didn't like not knowing if I was going to wake up one day and hear from someone out of the blue I have no interest in hearing from, lol.
Same, it actually fills me with dread to visit that site. I dont care about peoples boring life either and they just try to post stuff that makes them look inserting. I rarely ever post on there. only if I have a lot of photos to share or of something kind of cool, but i'm slowly edging away. The only reason I still have it is because my dance team uses it for information and posting videos and stuff, so I have to stay on there.

I guess it just depends on the mood we're in when posting.

Nathan boring???? No...not for me. Maybe the fact that he developed into such a caring stable man might be boring, but I found how he was as a husband...how he was as a father...how he was as a friend extremely hot. I'm sure Haley did not find him boring...especially with his shirt off.

From the old thread...

I for one am obsessed with male/male pairings. Like, obsessed. Don’t know why, I just like it. And i’m a bisexual female. lol. but I imagine its similar to men that love lesbian relationships lol. Or lesbian women that love lesbian relationships. People like what they like.

But honestly, when it comes to shipping its only about chemistry for me. people loved b/s on GG but i never saw it. But i do see it with betty/veronica. So i dont really look at the gender at all tbh. If two people interact and I see the chemistry then I ship it, period.

Thanks for the new thread Michelle and thanks for bringing my last post over from the previous thread Betty.

I’d also like to make something clear. My interpretation of slash parings are non-canon parings which could be same-sex parings, but not necessarily. Some people liked Dawson and Andie for example, or Ephram and Hannah as another possible non-canon and non same-sex paring. The term slash originated from Star Trek, where some people shipped Kirk and Spock, calling it Kirk/Spock, so the slash is the forward slash between the two names. Anyone that knows me knows that I’m not anti-gay, and I was just making a facetious observation about people here liking slash couples.

Same for me too. I have a Las Vegas Casino slot machine app I use on my iPhone & iPad. You win loyalty points for playing. Doesn't cost a cent and it's like a live interactive casino. It's fun. I love going to Vegas about once a year. So I play this game to earn loyalty points. At the end of the year I'll probably have all my hotel rooms paid for and some meals too.

Anyway, you need an active Facebook account to cash in your loyalty points. That is the only thing I use Facebook for and I found a way so high school people cannot track me lol. My nieces use Facebook for soccer (as well as Team Snap), that's all. I guess the "in" apps for high school are Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter.

I didn't either, Rachel, or most of it anyway. I liked parts but the season as a whole, I didn't like.

I have Facebook and I post on it some, but I mostly post here. I liked it initially because I was able to catch up with childhood friends, but a lot of it is very superficial and some people create images of themselves that are completely false. As an example, my wife's niece basically abandoned her two children when they were little because she was too immature and irresponsible to raise them, and she pawned them off on her sister and her husband, but on Facebook, she'll post pictures of her children saying how she "loves her boys" and if you didn't know her, you would think that she was the one who was raising them.

I also don't like all the political posts on Facebook. I have friends on both ends of the political spectrum and some of them post hate-filled posts about either President Trump, or Hillary Clinton, or President Obama over and over again. I get so tired of seeing all their nonsense. This is the only place where I post my political views because I feel safe here and I also feel that my opinions will be respected. I don't feel that way at all on Facebook.

Wow. Facebook can be so fake. You don't know what to believe. I was looking up some people I went to high school with. It's just so funny because I remember what they were like in high school and they seem so different now. Of course, it was high school, people change! But the changes are so drastic, it's just difficult to believe. Although, some people I looked up are the same and actually in a good way. I can tell they aren't plastic or fake just based on what I know of them and feel intuitively in the present too. But sometimes it's just difficult to decide what is real and what isn't real. There's been so many negative things attached to Facebook too. Bullying even goes on. It's incredible.

Ridiculous it's so political on Facebook. That has to be so draining. Glad you feel respected and safe here.

Got it Jerry. That makes more sense.

I notice it too but I think people are more open to sexuality on these forums then maybe some other places?

I never meant to imply you were anti gay Jerry! Not at all. I know you aren't. I thought slash pairings were gay relationships though? Or are they just gay relationships that aren't canon?

If we are taking gender out of it though and just referring to non canon couples then wouldn't those be considered UC ships? Do you mean to say that people tend to like those?

Nathan just had no personality to me in the later seasons. At least in 1-3 he was sort of jerky and it made him interesting but in the later seasons its like he was just kind of there. He didn't really do much and didnt' have a storyline. No wonder James wanted less screen time in season 9 and honestly, that was one of my favorite things about season 9 because Nathan didn't interest me.

Haley was just so funny and so fiery. IDK. I think she should hate dated someone maybe a bit dorkier but had more of a personality.

Personally I loved season 5.

My mom hates trump and all she does it rant about him on Facebook, its super annoying. Especially because she was never that political before... She has a new friend that is super political though and I think getting in her head. I dont like trump either but I too get sick of all the political talk. It just riles people up.
