Episode Discussion #318: "Fallout"

Fallout - first air date: April 25, 2005

After returning from New York feeling lost and confused and needing Amy (EmilyVanCamp) for support, Ephram (Gregory Smith) considers his options in the wake of Madison's (guest star Sarah Lancaster) life-altering revelation. Meanwhile, Andy (Treat Williams) is a little stunned upon learning the extent of Nina's (Stephanie Niznik) feelings for Jake (Scott Wolf) and, with a little encouragement from her friend, Bright (Chris Pratt), Hannah (Sarah Drew) decides to go on a date with a smitten Topher (guest star Lukas Behnken).

Vivien Cardone and Tom Amandes also star. David Hudgins wrote the episode directed by Michael Schultz.

I'm hardly over the previous episode. lol I can't wait to see this episode on Monday. It's surely going to be another great one. I'm so glad that this storyline is finally moving forward, no matter how difficult it is, at times, to watch. I hate seeing Ephram so devastated but I also know that eventually, he will get through this, move on, and even become stronger in the process. I'm all for things moving along as we get to that light at the end of the tunnel where resolution awaits us.

ITA, Wilpen. If all the characters need to go through all of these things to become better persons, even if they're sucky things, then so be it.

Can't wait to see this.

Absolutely, Sharon. So true. That's exactly what I think this storyline represents more than anything else. It's making everyone involved stronger and some relationships will unite, others will divide, even if only temporarily. It's a very trying time for so many and as a fan, it's tough to watch the characters go through this, but the good news is there is that light at the end of the tunnel to look forward to. I just hope we get there sooner rather than later.

Okay, so does this mean that Sarah will be in the episode? :look:

But this should be another good one, can't wait to read all the comments

Great question, and one that I can't answer. Not sure if they are referring to Sarah's previous episode she was in or if, in fact, they mean that she is also guest starring in this next episode. I don't even think the spoiler world knows if she is in tomorrow's episode or not. If anyone knows either way, please spill. :) If not, I guess we'll find out tomorrow night!

I can't wait to see Monday's episode as well and I too, am not over last Monday's episode! I sat there totally shocked afterwards! Poor Ephram. I feel so bad for him. I'm sure he feels all alone and has no one to trust :(

Also i came across spoilers (unintentionally) and if they are true, I know what's going to happen the rest of the last 5 episodes. I wont say anything, but I will say this; I am very saddened by what they have planned :(

Another heartbreaking Monday night ... so glad EV is back!

First off, Mr Brightside, love the av.

Secondly, I'm dreading/looking forward to this episode. I am happy to see Hannah and Bright interaction, and I think the date with Topher will be interesting to see. I'm also glad to see more Nina/Jake stuff.

I'm dreading anything to do with Ephram. He acted like such a stupid-head last week, and it looks like he's going to continue this week.

Where to begin:

Jake needs to go away.. soon.

Okay, moving on:

Delia. I was so happy she got some screen time and I loved her scenes. Vivien hasn't always been my favorite, but she rocked this evening.

Andy. I still don't like you.

Amy. God. This episode was so incredibly painful to watch.. every time they showed her eyes.. you could feel the pain and hurt. It was incredible. Also, did you see how she was dressed in the last scene of next weeks trailer. Wow. No more season 2 Amy clothing, that is for sure.

One thing that didn't sit well for me: The break up with him scene between Amy and Harold. He told her he wanted to take her away from the fire, yet in Season 2 he watched her suffer instead of putting her on anti-depressants. She said you don't leave someone when they need you.. what about Tommy? Not that I mind. It just stuck out to me.

I'll have more thoughts later.

Stupid Head?

I liked this episode I find Topher creepy and want him to back off Bright's girl right now.
Could Hannah have been any cuter? "I owe god some serious vegetables." Using words like alabaster and halitosis at the age of 9.
I felt so bad for Amy. I felt nothing but simpathy for Ephram last week this week I just felt irritated he's so focused on his own pain he can't see anyone elses. But my heart did break for him when he drove up to the adoptiva parents house and saw that swingset.

Good for Delia finally showing her Dad that's he's been ignoring her for way too long. i think Andy took for granted his closeness with Delia since moving to everwood it's been nothing but Ephram and that needs to change.

I'm sick of Jake I want Andy/Nina now.

Harold's becoming a better Dad with every ep.

I have to defend Ephram somewhat because when you get the kind of news he got you are gonna be going through different emotions. I can totally understand him wanting to see his son and see if he is OK. Even the woman said she wishes more were like him. Now I did not like what he said to Amy that was mean. Amy is also going through a lot of emotion as well and I felt really bad for her when she was in the car at the end.

I really hope this guy is gonna make Bright jealous and maybe realize he has feelings for her. Andy was a little annoying and I understand Delia's position. I also was sad when Ephram saw the house.

The Crow - I love yours. JA!

I missed the episode ... but I taped it.

I'll watch it tonight/tomorrow and post my reaction/review.

WORD, Noah.. My heart broke for Amy tonight. Emily was incredible, as always.

I won't comment on the rest of it just yet. But, I just wanted to mention how much I felt for Amy.
