I started watching GG later on in the series. I started watching right when DB got together romantically and I enjoyed their chemistry and liked them without knowing what else went on before they got together. Once I watched from the beginning I fell in love with DS and never looked back.

What about something like this - "Because Emily is strong enough to survive shooting" or we could do something else. I agree though that it should be related to the shooting somehow. Or we could play it up and add Nolan and Jack somehow supporting her.

About GG honestly I think that the first season was the best and I liked it the most. Then I stopped watching because to me the dynamics of Blair/Serena were totally screwed up. I couldn't buy them as best friend at all no matter the circumstances.

Loved them so much. Chuck sleeping with Jenny was the first HUGE mistake they made, though. I was so angry. I think Chuck/Blair are a little different than some other couples though because they're so extreme individually. I buy that they would make it through the crap they went through more than other couples. However, they're still another example of what writers should NOT do. Just because they're endgame, doesn't mean you can torture them... So annoying.

Was always a Chuck/Blair fan though, from start to finish. How about you?

I was not a fan. His attempt at rape turned me off big time. I felt that his influence on Blair was not positive. I'm glad that his character was redeemed in the end.
