I am back home. Also luckily I feel a bit better. Not a lot of congestion today, hopefully things are starting to settle down. We will see.

I think it's interesting how watching television has gone full circle. Years ago, we'd watch television shows from signals in the air that were captured by an antenna on our television sets or on the roofs of our homes and transmitted to our television sets. Then came cable TV, where we'd watch television shows through cables connected to our television sets. Now we watch television shows from signals in the air generated by Wi-Fi routers and modems that are connected to our computers and transmitted to our television sets. The more things change, the more they remain the same.

The reason that I thought of it is because I just switched to a new service to get my Internet which uses fiber optic lines to connect me to the Internet, and I'm now streaming my television shows through YouTube TV instead of cable. The Internet speed is faster and the picture quality on our televisions is fantastic. So when I was setting up my network to connect my TV's and computers to the new set-up, that thought occurred to me. The best thing about this new service is that I'm paying less than half of what I had been paying for Internet, Television, and a Home Phone. __________________
