. Really good parody of typical telenovela.
The actors are charming too. A very nice chemistry they have together.

I don't have the opportunity to talk either . I think that with watching just some phrases get stuck in my head . As for reading I haven't read Spanish since long time actually (well unless we count the comments in youtube and the song lyrics).

However it's admirable that you haven't practiced nada in Spanish since lots of years and you still understand what they are talking about. Most people would have forgotten the language.
Honestly, I still think I'd get lost if I had to go to Mexico or Spain for a couple months and immediately speak and hear the language. It wouldn't super easy. Plus, that guy was impressed with your accent. My accent would be horrible.

This show is a bit different than what we are used to watch. They aired one episode each week on network TV. However the episodes were divided into 5 web episodes that were transmitted online each day of the week. Then the complete episode is shown on TV.

Also after each episode they posted videos online with the actors where they do something (like visitting some charity event, playing some sport, showing how their day goes, some improvations, some challenges like for example a vieo where a guy paints the nails of one of the girls). Also three of the actors lived together. So basically they spent a lot of time together so indeed they have great chemistry. That's why they are so natural when it comes to improvizations and stuff like that.

I think that this is normal. We haven't lived in a Spanish speaking country and if we have to do it, it wouldn't be easy at all.

That sounds so great. No wonder they have great chemistry on the screen. The charity event is outstanding to hear. The other stuff sounds fun too. What a great way to get involved with the fandom, help out others, and maintain great chemistry together so it shows on the screen all the more.

Very true about us not living in a Spanish speaking country. No matter what it would be hard. We'd have to really dive into the culture to learn how to properly speak and understand the language... slang is involved, and other little things that you can only pick up on by actually living and breathing the culture/environment.

Yeah they went to charity organization to help actually. It was really interesting because they also infromed their fans about the organization and how they can help. It was really cool.

Definitely. This is true for every foreign country I guess. Knowing the language helps, but still it's different to be there and to just know some stuff.

That is so awesome.

Knowing the language absolutely helps, but being there and using it is really the best way to go there. I know someone who knew zero Spanish and went to Mexico for a month. By the time she came home she knew the language, slang, everything, fluently. It took her one month only.

That's impressive! Not all people would be able to accommodate that fast!

Talking about languages - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iw-H9XdIhPA. I wonder what made him say that he wants to learn Bulgarian . Love the German and Japanese sound . Also love how she pushed him in the end of the video. Those are also actors from the show that I watched.

Just saw this on facebook and you will be able to relate when you get old!

Three old ladies were having a conversation:
One said, “Sometimes I catch myself with a jar of mayonnaise in my hand, while standing in front of the refrigerator, and I can’t remember whether I need to put it away, or start making a sandwich.”

The second lady chimed in and said, “Yes, sometimes I find myself on the landing of the stairs and can’t remember whether I was on my way up or on my way down.”

The third one responded, “Well, ladies, I’m glad I don’t have that problem. Knock on wood,” as she tapped her knuckles on the table. Suddenly she said, “That must be the door, I’ll get it!”

The first one reminds me of our board at times.

The one (looks like it's 1950s) with Lucy propping Linus up with boards and nails...

Koni, I missed your post!

That's awesome about the Bulgarian. I wonder if he has some distant family from Bulgaria?

Snoopy... how in depth we can get during discussions, especially like spiritual discussions.

Betty the kids are talking about foreign languages. The girl asks the boy what foreign language he wants to learn and interestingly he says Bulgarian. The rest is just parody. He has to say some funny phrases to sound like German, French and Japanese. Obviously it's not the real deal, but just some funny sounds .

Could be. Another valid possibility is if he watches volleyball. Bulgaria and Argentina actually meet quite often in World volleyball league. So maybe that's how he has heard about the country.

Oh right, that's very possible. He also could have traveled to Bulgaria on vacation and enjoys your country too. I think the volleyball angle is very, very possible though. Now I want to know for sure the answer, lol.
