Thanks again, Ellie. Makes me miss Mike and Colin so much.
I wonder why they had Mike with long hair in his final episode, "Unspoken Truths". I always thought that was weird, heh. Maybe he was growing it for another role or something. __________________

yeah, either he had grown it on his own or for some other reason, but I guess it was silly to make him cut it (and way not worth it for a wig) for a 15-second appearance... it only seemed strange to me as there was no sign Colin had ever had long hair in the past, so IDK why Amy would imagine him that way. but... oh well!

Maybe she likes boys with longer hair and that's why Ephram had longer hair in Season 3 and 4 ?
I haven't thought about that, but you're right, it was strange. I think that the writers haven't thought about that either. __________________

Heh, good question! Maybe it's that she hadn't reached rock bottom yet, so something about Colin with long hair symbolizes that she had finally hit rock bottom?

Or maybe high Amy has problems with the details . And the time is factor here. I guess after 5 months she didn't remember how long was his hair. Or maybe that was imagination - how long would be his hair if he was alive.

if he got his hair cut regularly before, I can't imagine he'd have just let it grow this time... and after 5 months... it still wouldn't be that long, because he shaved bald for the surgery. I also can't believe Amy would forget a single detail of Colin, since she was so in love with him.
I like the idea that long hair symbolizes rock bottom. haha __________________

The bald look he had pre-surgery is something I've been thinking about too. That's the last real image of Colin that Amy ever gets to see, and the image she gives Colin for the final image she sees in her head is the exact opposite, with Colin having more hair than ever. *rubs chin* Maybe some meaning there.

I understand his hair being back, in general, as Amy would want to remember him that way, but... shrug. when it comes down to it, it's just that Mike had longer hair and didn't want to screw with it for a 30-second scene. when my internet isn't so crap, I guess I'll see what he was doing around that time. I mean, if he was mid-movie, he couldn't cut it anyway.
