Precisely. Like I mentioned up thread... I'd like to see Dan tell Nathan he loved him in that scene AFTER Nathan would tell him he's not playing basketball. In that scene he had hope Nathan was still playing.

That's the thing. Nathan is happiest when playing basketball, but on the other hand, Dan makes Nathan's life miserable through basketball
