Michelle that PS never gets old, love the title especially since it's also about teasing Alex.
Thanks for the new thread, too. I thought I'd bring my last post over as well. Heee Quote:

Riiiiight.
Which leads me to: Quote:
As far as features... her face is very beautiful. Blue eyes, gorgeous blue eyes with darker brown wavy hair though she can straighten it if she wants, so she wears it either wavy or straight and with her blue eyes, very attractive. Her facial features are just very nice. It's funny, both Angela and Alex have the gorgeous blue eyes and brown wavy hair so their look is kind of the same, both striking, though I wouldn't say they look alike although it could be the French blood they both have which slightly gives them a somewhat familiar look if that makes sense. Anyway, don't let Alex kid you, she's very attractive. Last edited by jediwands; 08-03-2008 at 11:56 AM |

Um the answer to that would be a big fat no.
I'm detailed, to the point, and tell it like it is. Explain the cop situation? Explain your co worker? Explain the dude that wanted in your suitcase. I didn't think so. |

OMG this is so great.
You guys have such great chemsitry, I just love letting you go. I missed this since lately you've been ignoring each other on the board. Never do that again, you guys are too cute together. I have to ask... someone wanted in your suitcase, Alex? Is suitcase a dirty word here or someone literally wanted in your suitcase? |

We've been too busy in our personnal lives bantering off the board to banter ON the board, but thanks for calling us on it, Erin
and no, come on, Mich is twisting everything. I went to buy something to a store for travel purpose and this guy who obviously was jealous I was going on a trip while he had to stay in france and work said "is your bag big enough ? could I hide in it ?" The guy was clearly wanting to travel and jealous. |

I am! Alex, Michelle's right that dude was clearly hitting on you! Now I'm really thinking that the word suitcase did have double meaning. |

Girls, you weren't there, I was ! I know what happened.
Mich is always trying to make it look like everyone on the street wants to jump me, now seriously, nothing could be further from the truth. The last time someone said something to me on the street was "look at the fatty". I'm not kidding either. |

Aw.
It's much easier to just admit that I win here. I mean think about the psych behind why that dude would have said, "Take me with you" which is essentially what he was saying. LOL. You don't "personalize" something like that without at least subconsciously thinking about being with that person. I mean not literally. LOL. I'm saying he had to find you attractive, THAT'S why he said what he said because otherwise if it was about him wanting to travel and come to the US he would have thought TO HIMSELF that he wanted to do just that without vocalizing it to you. The fact that instead, he personalized it by saying it out loud was all about him finding YOU personally pleasant, you know this. And the story of the cop hitting on you after your car got broken into? Actually you already admitted to that one at least. Heh. That was beyond obvious, asking for your phone number while on the job with you not exactly loving having to be there reporting your car being broken into yet he has time to talk about dating you should you be into it? Only in France. JK. So I win. Hear that? It's the crowd cheering loudly for Michelle's victory. LOL. Last edited by jediwands; 08-03-2008 at 03:19 PM |

The girl in the window - St. Petersburg Times
Thought I'd share this. It's really horrific and tragic and disturbing; it's a truly heartbreaking story about neglect and child abuse and the affects of that for a poor little girl who at 9, still does not have the basic natural human functions because she was so isolated from anyone, even her own mother. I know, sounds like a fun thing to read, eh? But it gets really touching, and a family comes along, and what an amazing family. I figured Michelle, especially, from a psychological standpoint, might be interested in it. I remember learning about Genie in psych, the girl who was found at 13 essentially completely neglected her whole life and that awful story always stuck with me because it was so tragic. So, to read this, which is so similar, it's just so sad and scary that something like that can happen again, but also that there is hope for this girl where there wasn't for Genie. Anyway, long-winded stuff aside, thought I'd post it for interest sakes, but be warned that it is really really really realllllllly depressing before there is any hope at all. __________________
