Your Top 10 Alias Episodes
 

I thought it would be fun to get everyone's opinion of their favorite episodes.

1. The Telling - There was so much in this episode all crammed together and there was nothing that I would change. It was a fantastic finale.

2. Counteragent - I loved this episode. It's one that I can watch over and over again.

3. Passage Pt. 1+2 - The interaction between the spy family is always good.

4. Phase One - Another episode that had a lot of stuff crammed into it.

5. Truth Be Told - The one that started it all.

6. Repercussions - I loved the Julia Thorne plotline.

7. Remnants - Yay, Will!

8. The Box Pt. 1+2 - Quentin was so amusing.

9. Blowback - The way that this episode was played was awesome. You don't get to see it like this anymore.

10. Unveiled - Loved the gothic costumes and Vaughn finally finding out about Lauren.

Crap. I think to fully satisfy my intense love for certain episodes I'd have to choose a top ten from each season... :lol: But for the sake of minimalization I'll *try* and pick a top ten.

These were the first to pop into my head: (in no certain order)


1. Rendezvous (Sark running! Syd singing! Will screaming! :lol: )

2. A Dark Turn (This ep started with such an awesome sequence, you just knew it would kick ass :smirk: )

3. Truth Takes Time (Evil Spy Trio? Hell yes. Sark kicking Vaughn's ass? HELL. YES. :D )

4. Counteragent (Just a flat out well done ep.)

5. Phase One (Not enough Sark, but I can forgive it.)

6. The Telling (The way season finales should be done...)

7. Succession (Return of Sark. 'Nuff said. :eyebrows: )

8. Blowback (This episode kicked network TV's ass. :cool: )

9. The Pilot (Gotta love how it all began, right? ;) )

10. Unveiled (Dude. Just... Dude. :sigh: )

Truth Be Told- Could Jen's acting have BEEN any better? No.

Colorblind- I loved the entire plot, and again with Jen's acting. Awesome.

Blowback- Just..it rocked. lol And yay Syd/Vaughn moment with the watch!

Q&A- The ending was just so cool lol

Snowman- I don't know why, but I loved Jen in this ep.

Almost 30 Years- When Sloane talks to Emily, just made the episode for me, I thought everything in this ep was great.

Truth Takes Time- I just like the ending lol

The Telling- THE ENDING! OMB!

Breaking Point- SO cool, I loved this episode so much. It rocked hardcore.

Hourglass- Ahhh one of my FAVORITE episodes, how it was shot was just..sooo cool lol. And the ending, with Sloane, and that music, whoa. Gave me chills.

...that took awhile.

This is such a good idea!

My top 10 episodes, in no particular order are:

1. Truth Be Told - Danny's proposal, the homages to Run Lola Run, the first appearance of Suit & Glasses, "Bite Me" - what more could you ask for?

2. The Box 1 + 2 - Quentin Tarantino on Alias? Smart, funny and pretty damn cool!

3. Rendezvous - The scene in the club, Sydney singing, Sarkney interaction, Will's reaction when he sees Syd...priceless.

4. The Counteragent - Sydney working with Sark to save Vaughn's life? Plotting to kill Sloane? Sark working for SD-6? Gripping stuff.

5. Phase One - A new head of SD-6 in the form of the creepy Rutger Hauer, Dixon finally learning the truth and the fall of the Alliance for good. It felt like a mini movie.

6. Double Agent - Ethan Hawke on Alias? How could you not love this episode? Fast paced, exciting and kept you guessing til the end.

7. The Telling - Spy!Mommy's exit was so so cool, Will was finally cleared, and THAT ending!

8. Remnants - Sydney and Will on a mission, complete with Rolling Stones style accents - "The Next Big Thing" :lol: Sark running for dear life, Will finally getting closure for Francie's death, amazing stuff.

9. Full Disclosure - The return of Kendall! Loved the explanation and the flashbacks to Sydney's time as Julia. "It's My Life."

10. Hourglass - David Carradine kicking Sark's ass, the scene on the roof with the Vack interaction -

"I'm not sure you have a choice"
"Why's that?"
"Because you're the one that married her!"

Also, Sloane's "execution" was very well done - loved how it was intercut with Sydney's rampage in the store facility and how Deftones played over everything...

Um let's see, if my list ends up not being ten blame it on my laziness and my tiredness. ;)

In no particular order:

Truth Be Told: Uh hello! If this wasn't on my list I would be insane. Not only did this start it all...the red hair, the action, Jen's amazing acting, and of course no commercials!

Almost Thirty Years: I looked forward to this so much since it was being hyped and everything. It definately didn't dissapoint I was screaming by the end of the episode.

The Telling: Whoa..this episode blew my mind. Nuff said.

Phase One: I waited what seemed like fffoorreevvverr for this episode. Stupid Super Bowl. But in the end...wow. Francie! Plane scene! Kiss! Awesome.

The Enemy Walks In: Let's all welcome Irina

Remnants: Aww Syd AND Will is even better.

Color Blind: I thought John Hannah was awesome and so was Jennifer. That episode was kinda freaky.

Counteragent: Brilliant makeup and it was just nice.

The Passage 1/2: SpyFamily together is just too good to pass up.

The Getaway: Hah..first dates gone awry.

this was difficult, seems i really liked season 2. these are not necessarily in order:

1.PHASE ONE - so much packed into one ep, the kiss heard round the world finally! so full of action, the plane scenes were awesome.

2.GETAWAY - the first date was so exciting. i'll never forget that line when vaughn asked syd "did you ask him to do that?" w/ regards to giving them the key to the hotel suite.

3.DOUBLE AGENT - vaughn finally gets to see syd's apt. ethan hawke guest stars. v/s finally have their first time w/ francie's evil twin spying the whole time

4.COUNTERAGENT -syd has to work w/ sark to take sloane down all in the name of love for vaughn. vaughn admits his feelings about syd to irina. the ending was so exciting, leading to great things to come.

5.ENEMY WALKs IN -S2 starts w/ a bang. we meet irina. syd finally gets her vaughn back. he didn't drown!

6.BOX 1&2- q.tarantino guest stars and vaughn gets out from behind the desk for the first time to frolick w/ syd in a mission.

7.ALMOST THIRTY YEARS - s1 ending rocked. jj leaves us w/ our first cliffhanger.

8.CROSSINGS -s/v finally get to address their feelings in S3 w/o lauren peeking over their shoulders. syd admits she slept w/ will. sark uses his real accent.

9.ENDGAME - Christian Slater guest stars. syd gives vaughn a drawer.

10.RESURRECTION - didn't love the quality necessarily, could've done w/o those face mask switcheroos. BUT, did love the outcome.

alright, shoot me... i am a sucker for the romantic scenes so that's why these eps stuck out in my mind.

Well I've only seen season 1 & 2 and I'm still finding it hard but here goes:

Phase One - Just AMAZING! especially since it was mid-season

Truth Be Told - The episode that kicked it all off in style!

The Enemy Walks In - Say hello to one of the best characters on Alias - Irina!

Almost Thirty Years - A great finale to a brilliant season 1.

Truth Takes Time - A brilliant episode, Irina rules and poor Amy :(

The Box parts 1 + 2 - Great story, great guest stars!

The Telling - Probably my favourite episode so far!

Passage parts 1 + 2 - The Bristow family, kicking ass!

A Dark Turn - Irina = Brilliant! Great and dramatic!

Endgame - I loved it and Tracy Middendorf guest starred!

Eek! I don't think I can decide.

You all have picked some good ones. I think I'll have to come back and think about this and post later. :)

Ok this is a toughy.....and ten, I'll have to go and make a list on paper first :lol:

This is too hard, I love them all so much! :lol: (well, except for some mid-s4 ones I wasn't too crazy about :goof: )

Anyway, let's see...

#1 - 1x22 "Almost 30 Years" ~ This is actually my favorite finale. The Sloane/Emily scene was perfect. The entire eppy was very action-packed, and yet emotionally gripping. I thought they combined all aspects of the show perfectly. Plus - "One in five, you little bitch! ONE IN FIIIIIVE!!!" :thumbs_up:

#2 - 1x21 "Rendezvous" ~ Can you tell I have a soft spot for late s1? :D This one was just amazing, and a great build up to the finale.

#3 - 2x07 "Counteragent" ~ The geisha! The Sarkney! The S/V! Everything about it was just awesome. :woot:

#4 - 2x22 "The Telling" ~ An amazing finale to an amazing season. Loved it.

#5 - 2x08 "The Passage, Part 1" ~ Spy!Fam at its best. Also, a cool Sarkney scene and some fun aliases!

#6 - 3x01 "The Two" ~ I thought it was a great way to introduce s3. I love the last 10 minutes of it, with Sydney making a comeback. And the Syd/Vaughn scene is just amazing, as well as Syd/Jack prison one.

#7 - 1x01 "Truth be told" ~ The pilot was just fantastic. I had no idea where to put this on my list, since it's kind of different from everything else. So, eh, it ended up here.

#8 - 2x06 "Solution" ~ Great Syd/Jack/Irina stuff, as well as the Syd/Vaughn cell!sleepover. It's just a nice, gripping episode. I love all of the early s2 stuff.

#9 - 1x03 "Parity" ~ Fun Anna/Syd action! I also love the Syd/Will tequila/ice cream kiss, as well as the episode's cliffhanger. Great music too!,

# 10 - 3x22 "Resurrection" ~ Not a popular one, but I do like it for some reason. It's full of cool spy stuff (hideous masks aside) and it's very dark, which I thought was very fitting for a s3 conclusion. Great Sark/Vaughn stuff, as well as the Syd/Lauren fight.


Honorable mentions: 1x04 "A broken heart", 2x17 "A dark turn", 2x18 "Truth takes time", 3x10 "Full disclosure", 5x13 "Prophet Five"

Agreed about Almost 30 years... it is somewhere in my top ten for sure. Funny how all your episodes ended up from being from season 1-3 :wiggle:
