I'm visiting my parents right now. They have a dial up connection (at least it's working again; today is the first day since 3 weeks I guess )
I had a nice weekend besides writing a final on Saturday. We had a BBQ on Sunday which was great. I love it What did you do over the weekend?

Hey guys!

I hope everyone enjoyed 4th of July (that is, if you're an American ). And if you're Canadian, I hope Canada Day went good for you all! And if you're anything else, I just hope you had a great weekend!

Colorado was fun, but I'm glad to be home. There was only 1 computer in the hotel, and every single time I got on, some older guy came up to me askng me how much longer I'd be, and than sat there and watched me and what I was doing. (I was either on FF or checking my e-mail.) Very annoying.

The drive home went smoothly. No big 'almost' accidents. And yes, the truck that nearly hit me head on when I was driving down there stopped, and checked on me and my mom. I was shaking, my mom was fine. Oh, and the lady that was with him asked me only 1 question. I was shaking and nearly crying, and she goes, "Do your parents drink?"... Okay, what?! Strange question. I told her no, and then she went on her way. Very very weird.

MartoufMarty That sign is hilarious! There was a Dairy Queen near where I live and the sign on it said, "Way to Git 'R Done class of '05". I promise you, I live in a pretty hick-ish town.

Andie Sorry about your writing final. When are you done with all of that? It's summer, you shouldn't have to be worrying about that right now.

Well, I have nothing planned today. Woohoo! Time to be lazy.

Yes, I had a great time at the lake... I have some awesome friends that I go with.

We went out on the boat all day, came in to eat dinner, and then went out again on the night of the fireworks and sat out on the lake and watched the fireworks...then we hung out in the water until about 2 am.... I was so tired and sunburnd the next day, but it was worth it

Carol - Aww. I'm jealous. I wish I was at the lake watching fireworks. We didn't even get to pop fireworks because it's SO dry here. But sounds like you had an awesome time!

I'm going to London in 2 weeks to visit Scythe (Jen). And she's coming to visit me on Sunday. She'll be the first one from FF I'll meet in person.

I'm going to Vietnam in 3 weeks, I just got my ticket yesterday, I'm so excited. Hopefully there's computer over there that I can use, I don't think I can survive without computer for 5 weeks

I have one more mini-vacation to go on. It's a MADD/Leadership camp that I've always gone to, except now, I'm going as a staffer. I'm sooo excited! 3 years ago, my first time to go, a girl in my group was from Alaska. We stayed in touch, and have become best of friends. She still comes to Texas for camps, and last summer, I went and visited her up in Alaska. Camp is just so positive, and such a great experience. It's my favorite!

Yup. She's visiting me tomorrow and I'm going to London next Sunday. I'm a bit scared of going to London but I hope it's gonna be ok.

Claire - I'm studying for my last four finals. Will be finished on July 23rd. going home talking a short break (a week) and starting my 7 week intership at the administration. After that I'll have some time ....a t least I hope so Have fun on your mini vacation. I'm sure the two of you will have a blast
