I'm doing as little as possible for the weekend because i know that i'm going to have to start studying for my exams on monday :lol:

Exactly, Dave. It doesn't help that this is the ONLY paper I have to write this semester. Ahh the perks of being a CIS major minoring in math and film studies. The paper is for the film studies class I'm taking this semester. Has to be six to eight pages. So not used to that, but I might be able to wing it. My essays for the tests in the class have been A- material on average.

Yeah, especially since I thought I did a horrible job for the second examples in my two essays for the latest test. I was really strong for the first examples in the two essays, but the second? Definitely not my best work. Really felt like I was stretching it.

...Of course he could be grading it based on the fact that it was timed (an hour and a half to do 2 essays in the tests) and thus we didn't have "forever" to polish it up.

God!, not just an essay, but a timed essay? hell on earth if you ask me :lol: I'm glad that i don't have to write any essays for IT :nod: :D

Yeah, it's only the film studies minor where I have to write. I'm a film and tv junkie, so hoping to do something with computers in the film industry careerwise. Maybe something with a video production company or whatever.

Also, I should note that the hour and half is with my extended time. My classmates get an hour. Plus, he gives us the topics about a week in advance so we can prep. Like he gives us a sheet with four possible questions and the actual test has three of those four questions (meaning he eliminates one) and then we have to answer two of those (so we eliminate another one). Plus you have to talk about like at least 2/3 of the films you watched in the unit (the first unit had 4 films, the second had 6) so you can't always talk about the same movies. LOL.

It seems interesting at least :nod: do you get to watch any good films?.

Our exams are set out like that :nod: They give us about 5 questions and we have to answer 3 of them. Hopefully we'll get an idea of what is going to be on the test in our last lecture next week :)
