Isi Thanks for getting the thread going! Fitting title

Gaby Congrats on the exam!

And since I wrote so much on the last thread's post..... here it is again :smrik:

Gaby Yes, you have been busy! Glad you at least peeked in :thumbs-up:

Isi Yeah, Jericho probably couldn't be termed "cute" But it does have some cute scenes! That's one of the things I love about shows like Jericho, Grey's Anatomy, and Alias: the juxtaposition of the real, the traumatic with everyday mundane things.... and throw in some romances and You got an awesome show! For instance, in Jericho, a girl from the IRS has come into town to audit Stanley's farm. They end up falling in love, even though she's a city girl and came to town (and is now trapped here) to take his farm

Andie For the Halloween party I went to on Friday, I dressed up as a hillbilly It was a themed Hillbilly Halloween party. So I put on my cowboy boots, old jeans, dad's flannel shirt, put my hair in two low pigtails and topped it off with my cowboy hat.

I'm not sure when Jericho is coming back..... may be soon if the Viva Laughlin show doesn't do well. However, I think they are waiting until Janurary.

A bunch of us are starting a Jericho campaign, though, and really trying to get folks to vote for the show to get it's own board in November

Ken Good luck on the company president's visit That would make folks scurry about

Lauren Yeah, I'm glad Jericho is back, too. Now we're trying to get it it's own board here at

Taschka I'm glad you at least peeked in to say hello

Taschka, you're always so busy. The time will pass quickly and Christmas will arrive soon Reminds me that I should get started with Christmas shopping soon... it always takes me ages

Carol, sounds great. Did you take pics too? Btw I think they have cancelled Viva Laughlin after just two episodes

After you were talking about it over here I was looking for websites/picturs and came across the promo pictures. I just couldn't resist playing around a little and making that banner.

But yeah, it was really me. What are you up to today?

Isi: thanks for the new thread, nice title!

Gabby: Congratulations!

Carol: Did you act as a hillbilly too, or did you just dress up as one? I wish you the best of luck getting that Jericho board =)

Andie: you made a banner for PD?

Well, my day is almost over... Went to school this morning, had a terrible maths lessen, then I got back my Latin exam and my English exam, I had to endure two long hours of economy/politics (not that I would be interested in that but yeah...) with a non-stop talking teacher, had a rather good geography lesson (cause we watched a movie about... well some geographical stuff... and I could answer almost every question *lol*) and two hours of sports (which I really hated) and then I finally could go home. And at around 7 I went to my driving school to do some tests and I had to encounter a meeting with someone who practically hates me but since I was really annoyed by being called names and being insulted I said I'd like to talk about it and now I'll have to see how that goes.
And since around 8 I'm home again (now it's 9:30) and I am happy that I can sleep until 8 tomorrow cause school starts at 9:45 for me.

How about you? What did you do/are you going to do except that little trip to the PD board?

Lauren, I did. You can take a look at it here. Btw do you watch just Doctor Who or other David stuff too?

Isi, sounds like you had a though day I hope you did well on those exams What was the topic in your economics lesson? If you don't mind me asking... where are you from? Did you have a theory lesson at driving school?

I won't do a whole lot I've been studying, watching a bit tv and made that PD banner. Other than that I am enjoying the day. I might do some more fan art, but I am not 100% sure yet.

Isi sounds like you had a long day. I can relate about teachers talking for hours. Sometimes I get this impulse to shout, we get it... we get it, just shut up already. lmao. Do you think you did well on your driving tests? I'm glad you have an extra hour to sleep tomorrow

Andie: Wow, you have some major art skills! That banner is really adorable just like them.

I watch other David stuff

I did well on the English one... got 12 out of 15 points which is great cause I didn't really understand the exam questions but I managed to write what the teacher wanted. And my mistakes index was even better, I got 14 out of 15 points for correct spelling and grammar. Latin wasn't that good, though it was a good grade considering my abilities *lol*

The topic in my economics lesson... I have to think... uhm... oh right, "stocks and stock markets". Basically we did a lot of reading and underlining and summarizing.
And no I don't mind you asking, I'm from Germany. I live in the very North of it (well, an hour above Hamburg) but still close to Denmark.
And no I didn't have a theory lesson, thank God I'm through with those. I just go there to do tests and find out what I know and what I don't so I can learn the stuff for my written license.

And your day sounds great. I need holidays. Now. One day of school and I'm ready for holidays again.

What have you seen so far and what did you like best? Btw there are awesome music vids on you tube!

Isi, that's so cool. I've never really been to Hamburg but heard that its very pretty. Are you living close to the sea? I love the beaches & wind Wow, you did really well on your English exam And I can relate with being not that good at Latin... I was much worse How long 'til you graduate? When is your written exam... for the driving licence?

Well, I did 5 tests, Lauren and I'm allowed to have 10 mistakes. And I scored 12, 9, 3, 4 and in the last one I had 26
I didn't understand one single question of that last test XD

The written exam for the driving license... I don't know yet, I can pick a date but I'm not yet good enough to take it.
Hmm, I live like 20 minutes away from the North Sea (well, by car) but whenever I go there it's low tide
With the Latin thing... I should be better because I'm doing an advanced course (my advanced courses are Latin and English) and my abilities aren't good enough for that. But I can't help it I'm much worse at all the other subjects.
And I will graduate in 2009 which is actually pretty soon. I always thought I had more time. And I don't even know what to do after I finish school.

I know you'll get better... I did too. And the questions repeat itself as well. Are you living very close to the Danish border? I've been to a town called St. Peter Ording. Do you know it by any chance?
