I remember Steph from the Syd/Vaughn fan fiction yahoogroup. Every single story of hers was so in character and so beautiful that I didn't even mind they only had a PG rating. ;) I completely recommend any and all of her fics to you.

I’m fairly new to Alias fanfic, but was wondering if anyone knows a way for a newbie to get access to SD-1. The site is members only but the forum moderators don’t permit new members. It’s a shame because a lot of reca appear to be to stories only posted there and not to any archive. (It also is a shame that so many of the old archive sites are accessible only via the Wayback Machine. That makes it hit-or-miss as to whether a particular story (or part of a story) was captured.)

That would be great. Email is jwsel @ yahoo.com (with the extra spaces removed). You can use jwsel. There is no way to actually submit a request for membership, unfortunately, so I don’t think there is any way for me to send anything for them to look out for.

One thing I wonder is if they could create a read-only ID that could be made public along with a passcode for people who just want to read the fix that appears to only be SD-1.net.

Obviously, there is the Alias section at fanfiction.net however I'd say 60% of fics were never posted there and posted to SD-1, All Alias, other boards and now defunct fanfic archives. :(

Also, there also are some fics on AO3 and a number of the old sites can be accessed through the Wayback Machine, though they can be tricky to navigate and sometimes if a story is on multiple pages, you'll find that only some parts were captured. Yes, Cover Me was one of the fanfic archives I was thinking about, but I could not remember the name of it. "Allies" was another one but I cannot find a link to it.

RocknVaughn, Old Romantic, mga1999, angvau57 were some of the big names I remember in fan fiction - however there were so many others.
