When Vaughn discovered the Rambaldi museum was closed, he couldn't believe that he had travelled 9000 miles for an impossible birthday surprise. Once he called Sydney to check that it was really open, she told him about the power of the Mueller device and how nobody had dared to question its colour or size when trying to buy it. In a moment of panic, Dixon called Sydney to tell her about the mission and ended their conversation with a song. This made Sydney call Vaughn and explain to him that she was about to do a lot shopping at the museum shop. She quickly lost patience and went back home to sort out all of the team members who were messing up. When she left the office she decided to visit Emily, who was busy with her garden party. Once the guests decided it was time to leave, Sydney went to the garden and sat with Isabelle in the swimming pool playing a bit. After a while it became like school and everyone decided it would be better to go eat at the deli around the corner. The gang danced the Tango every time the news came on and then a cat ran around out the other door, so they decided it was time to go home. The night was drawing to an end so Syd started gathering her things and went home. The others were finishing their drinks when Sloane arrived and wanted to talk about Rambaldi, so they hid in the bathroom until he left the party and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
