About how in season 2 Joey told Jack she wasn't comfortable with displaying their affections in front of the school.

Personally I think that just shows us what Pacey did for her. He made her feel comfortable in a way she wasn't with anyone else. She loved him enough not to care who saw. Including Dawson. :D
