lol I forgot all about Abby. I obviously didn't like her but I do think it was too easy to kill her off (and in the silly way they did it) I do wonder how her character would of evolved if she stayed on the show. I would hope she would mature and stop getting off on hurting people. I'm neutral on Pacey/Andie but it was a good relationship for them both and it's good it happened. I always loved that picture of Pacey and Joey's foreheads touching, so natural and intimate. I guess that's before she starts shoving and hitting Pacey lol.

Yeah, they didn't. It must be a promo shot or something, but I've always loved that picture of their foreheads touching. That would of been a nice moment to see if Joey didn't smack Pacey around cause she liked the kiss lol. Another chemistry goldmine moment.

The scene where she pushes him always makes me smile. They did that scene so well.

Is that where she calls Pacey instead of Dawson? I alwaya felt she was waiting for Pacey to let Joey off the hook so to speak. He always believed in her ftom the beginning. But the final analysis. When Joey proclaims she doesn't want to be left off the hook. Wish we got a scene where she chooses Pacey. But I foiund this scene the most beautiful of the series

We didn't get an actual Joey choosing Pacey moment because they wanted the final scene of the finale to be a surprise. But the letting her off the hook scene was very telling. Joey said her love for Pacey was very real vs. her eternally innocent love for Dawson. It's pretty obvious that someone would choose real love instead of childhood innocent love.

Yeah, it's obvious that KW kept that scene intentionally vague so it wasn't 100% clear who Joey's choice was, but if you look at the language and everything it shows her saying in a roundabout way that she chooses Pacey. And yeah, "pure and eternally innocent" is not the love of your life type of love. And that might mean something beyond friendship - the whole soulmate thing KW tried - but that doesn't necessarily mean it's romantic forever love. You can love someone as more than a friend and not love them romantically at the same time.

The true soulmates of the show were Jack and Jen. They were like an old married couple. The fact he was gay. Made their relationship so more special.

Joey loved Dawson. He was her first love. As Andi was Paceys. But I think KW acknowledged. The character growth. Pacey was clearly her true love. Maybe im in the minority on that. As theirs still a ton of disgruntled DJ fans lol. And I get it. But all im saying is. I can see where KW was coming from with that ending.

I don't think you are in the minority, the majority of fans were PJo fans which is proven by how much you see out there about them vs what is out there about Dawson and Joey. When I search Dawson's Creek or even Dawson and Joey, PJo stuff comes up all the time. It is really hard to get good DJo content.
