Long time since I've posted..just letting you know I'm still big on J/K and D/J and think of them from time to time! As said plenty of times, their chemistry is something so special that won't see on TV ever again! They will always be together! As said ending of the show was a fan-based decision..KW had it right on the first script!

D/J were sooo more deep with their connection than their other coupling.

DJ Always! I continue to follow James and Katie's careers and when they support or catch up with each other!

Hope everyone is staying safe these days with COVID and etc...

am I the only one who thinks often about/loves the moment in their morning after scene where their first instinct after waking up together is to reach for and pull each other closer like they don’t want to let each other go?

stayed up to re-watch episodes 1 and 2 of season 6 again last night

love them but also it always definitely makes my heart ache to watch as a shipper with how the script writers gave us what we wanted only to take it away at the end of the episode

a special type of heartbreak

very much reminds me of the Buffy and Angel episode and Stefan and Elena episode on Vampire Diaries where they show what a perfect happy life would be like for the couple only to take it away at the end

I’ve recently really gotten into Riverdale and Betty and Archie as a couple over the last couple of weeks

not sure who else here has watched or watches it

but Betty and Archie do remind me a lot of Dawson and Joey in terms of relationship dynamics

I'm a Betty and Archie fan too. From the very first episode, their story reminds me of Dawson and Joey. Betty pining over Archie has those season 1 D/J vibes

I totally agree with those comparisons, Allison. The original and ultimate couple. I just hope Barchie gets a better ending. I think it's looking good, because the shippers are actually allowed to be vocal in their support on social media now - something which didn't exist back in the Dawson's Creek era. I wish it had, because then maybe the writers would have seen just how much people were loyal to DJ over the years.

Like the FB comment about DJ ending. Kevin always had in mind with DJ! His original script had it too! If social media was big back in those days who knows. Still loyal to DJ to this day..Something special you won't see that often! James and Katie also have great chemistry!
