The first time around when season 3 was first shown, i couldnt even it watch it, because i thought after season 1 and 2, season 3 lost the magic, with the eve storyline, i swear that story was something the writers could of done without.... and i grew to love pacey and joey in the end, that was the only best thing about it.

I LOATHED Eve. That storyline was bizarre. There was no point to the Eve storyline outside of wedging her between Dawson and Joey by seducing Dawson. That was basically it. Right whenever the storyline got somewhat interesting by finding out that Eve was Jen's half sister, they never followed through with that storyline.. Such a weird deal.

It is more than obvious that Eve was just brought in to take Dawson away from Joey. The writers thought this was the way to get Dawson's attention diverted away from Joey.

I am a huge Pacey & Joey shipper so I cannot hate the seaon that brought together a couple that I had shipped from season 1 - Yet I did dislike a lot of storylines, characters and what they did to something I adored - The friendship. I pretty much knew from the moment that the scene with Joey and Pacey on the dock in the first ep that they were going to have them have something happen with them which was more than friendship. I was happy about that fact and loved seeing the friendship building between them it was sopme of the best DC P/J stuff yet how it all ended with there friendships I hated.

I partly loved DC because of the friendships and even though I disliked Dawson with a passion I could bare him when it came to his friendship with Pacey. I think the writers should have gone about Dawson finding out a hell of a lot better and at least a shred of the friendship in tact between them. And Andie, I was never a huge fan of her but still I couldn't help but love how Andie changed Pacey and kinda made him into a man instead of a little boy. Having Andie cheat on Pacey was plain wrong and I hated that also, it made no sense for he to do that considering what Pacey did for her. Gah I disliked the way they got my couple togeteher and wreaked my fave friendship.

Eve I will not even go into as it is just hate I just could not beleive any of it and how she would ever wanna have sex with Dawson (Kidding) But yeah it was a waste of time.

The Henry and Jen saga - Well again to have this major romance that I think finaly amounted to something in the season three finale and not have him return in season four was stupid. Like Paul Stupin said on the commentary it was a repetative romance that seemed to always have Jen having issues and Henry bearing the weight of them.

The other stuff was okay I guess. I love the Mitch and Gail relationship and loved seeing that get rekindled and Jack's storylines were a little pathetic and barley there. I cannot help but love P/J and I always will I just wish that they had gone about getting them together a total different way.

I didn't like season 3 either. Dawson was not exactly himself. Dawson and Joey got totally screwed over as did Pacey and Andie. Nothing really great came out of it unless you're a P/J fan so I wasn't happy at all with this season. I think the only thing I liked was when they all went to Dawson's Aunt's house and sang karaoke. That was cool.

I also hate season 3 with every bone in my body. The writers tried to makine PAcey into to Mr. Good. I dont see Dawson doing what he does in "Show Me Love" with the boat. Does anything we have seen in the past 2 and a half seasons in Dawson;s personality would make him do something like that. I dont think so. I really think that the writers were trying to make people forget about D/J and Dawson. Becasue they knew maybe James would not stay and had to rely on the rest of the cast. It was very poorly done and Paul stupin is to blame. He took over for Kevin and dropped the ball.

Season 3 is shocking. It really is.

I dislike Pacey/Joey hugely so obviously this was never going to be a great season for me but there was just so much to dislike.

I didn't get why Andie cheated on Pacey. It felt utterly out of character for her and I don't believe that her illness should be used as an excuse for it. Sure she could conect with others that were going through similar issues but really, going so far as to cheat on her devoted boyfriend who she knew was waiting for her back home? I'm sorry, I don't buy it at all I'm sure they could have found another way to split them and if that meant Pacey/Joey was developed much later then so what? That might have been a better turn out anyway.

Also I felt that Pacey was built up to be this incredible guy with hardly any flaws. He seemed like he could do no wrong and again, I felt that was contrived. Then again I think they tried to rebalance this in S4 by going too far the other way.

I also didn't like the villianisation of Dawson. Some say it was completely in character for him but I have to disagree. Yes Dawson was selfish and flawed but not to the extent they portrayed him in S3 It was total OCC behaviour.

I'm not the biggest Dawson fan, I do like James a lot though, and I liked Dawson after his father died, but yeah. There was nothing about Season 3 that I liked except for Pacey and Jen I hated how they ruined my girl's character to put PJ together.

They did. I could understand that they were scared but Doug was right in what he said to Pacey. Being honest with Dawson would have been much better then sneaking around behind his back. I know Pacey tried to tell him but honestly I really wish he'd actually put more of an effort in.

Count me among those who hated what happened in Season 3. Even after all these years, i`m still troubled by how TPTB completely ruined Andie. It was so OOC and sad that she cheated on Pacey, who was so devoted to her.

Also while i love that Pacey and Joey got together, i hated that they kept Dawson in the dark.

Lastly don`t even get me started on Eve. The only good thing about her is that she was very hot.
