Joey: Yeah?

Jack: I've tried biting my tongue, but, uh, the $64,000 question has to be asked...(speaking into the mop handle) What's up with you and Dawson?

Joey: (smiles) Nothing.

Jack: Oh, yeah, "nothing". You two shared a pretty conspicuous not-a-nothing kiss the other night. Come on...

Joey: Yeah, well, we're putting it on hold. We have enough to deal with without adding our complicated relationship to the mix so...

Jack: Alright, alright. I'll buy that...I'll buy that. So...how are you feeling otherwise?

Joey: Um...okay. I've obviously had a lot on my mind lately but...how are you feeling about this whole thing?

Jack: Alright, I know this sounds a little morbid but...I keep thinking about how Abby and I kissed at Dawson's birthday party which means I'm probably the last person she ever kissed.

Joey: At least she went out with a bang!

(Jack laughs. Joey laughs and covers her face with her hands.)

Joey: I can't believe I just said that.

Jack: I can't either.

My name is Katherine and I am a huge fan of Dawson's Creek. I watched it years ago on the WB but am now getting back into it again with reruns on the N-channel.

I agree... I loved Jack and Joey together, even though they turned his character gay. I wish they had stayed together a bit longer, though, before they did that. :cry:

My favorite Jack/Joey episode is when she sketches him in the nude. That was hot!

I have three favorite Jack/Joey scenes... the first one was in the episode when Andie and Joey run for Student Council and Abby embarrasses Andie during the assembly. The scene is when Jack apologizes to Joey for shutting her out and she tells him that when her mom was dying, she had this friend who helped her cope with it. Then she takes his hand and they just look at each other and say nothing. But they didn't have to because SO MUCH WAS SAID with just that look...

The second scene is when Jack walks Joey home after their date in the park. He steals a kiss from her and then he jokes, "You're not going to stop speaking to me again, are you?" And she jokes back, "Nah, it's a crescent moon." LOL! So cuuuuute.... *sigh*

My third favorite scene is when Jack confesses to Joey that he's gay. Even though it means the end for them as a couple, it was such a sad, poignant moment that I actually teared up when I watched it!!! I definitely felt Joey's pain...

I wish that there had been more Jack/Joey scenes in the later seasons, even as just friends, but I guess the writers felt that Jack already found his BFF in Jen... :shrug:
