Why Snails?

Since we are always welcoming new True Lovers to our home, I'm going to post this information here so that everyone will know. The reason our counter is by snails dates back to the episode Modern Romance in Season 1. Pacey and Joey were assigned an extra credit project involving the mating habits of snails. Pacey tried to create a snail menage a trois and the snails all died. So, they had to go out into the creek to collect more. At the end of that day, Pacey kissed Joey for the first time. So, we decided to use snails as our counter. Got it? Good.

Just a few reminders:

• Please do not “star” post, meaning, a post to just say hello, goodnight, or anything like such.
  Please refrain from posting big long pieces of scenes, with lots of dialogue in a row, on the same page. In addition, keep the number of pics per post to a minimum in order to conserve server space.
  Also, please do not post the same pic on the same page or quote pics throughout the snail.
  Please do not bring over comments from D/Jo fans or arguments from other threads over here to the snail. This is the place to have fun and enjoy P/Jo, not to bash another couple. Thanks!

hey guys,
I have some questions and I don't know where else to put them. if you want to move them feel free but i didn't see a thread for general questions. I've been watching the old eppys and i have some questions. I know the rialto closes down in the first eppy is season 2. Did it ever reopen? where did they go to the movies after that? How come mitch all of a sudden wanted a divorce? they were trying to work things out and then all of a sudden he wants a divorce, how come? Also, when she saw her dad in season1, how long had it been since she saw him? when did they usually visit him? Also, I saw a bridge in the background of an eppy, was that the bride to the cape, the bourne bridge? Thanks!!!

I think it did at some point as I was watching Season 4 the other day and someone mentioned going there.

I think it was just cos they had really tried to work things out but it wasn't getting anywhere and he felt that was the only route they could go down.

I think Bessie says in that episode that they only visit him once a year, so presumably it was a year since she had visited him, actually I think 2 years as her and Bessie took it in turns.

They replace it with a new theater. Dawson mentions it to Joey in "The Kiss" when they are on the swings.
I dunno if they ever refer to the bridge. It's the actual bridge in Wilmington though where they filmed.

so true finally. Pacey even said in the finale that there are always sparks between him and Joey. She said there's one in the pro colunm. That's something that did not go a way whether they were together or not is the electricity

Yeah that's right TrueLovePJer cos I was watching The Tao of Dawson today and Grams says "We are simply having dinner at your parent's restaurant and then we are going to the Rialto 16 to see Almost Famous."

I watched Self Reliance today So cute when Pacey, Joey and Alexander are together at the end like a little family When Joey goes to visit Dawson, why is she crying at the end??? I don't get it

faye, what crying are you talking about. All I remember is crying happy tears when Dawson gave her the picture of her and Pacey from the Christmas party because she couldn't believe it. She was so happy about it. Then, she calls Pacey's up because she was in such a good mood
