Let's start a new story...

Seems like fun. Do I start with one word, a sentence or a paragraph? I'm asking because the last story seemed to make sense until a certain point at which it just got wacky and hard to follow.

One word...I think it's supposed to be 300 words for 300 posts per thread. I think it can be as serious or silly as we want to make it.:) ETA: I'll put the first word:
