Loved it too, and we pretty much got what I had asked for in the last couple of days. Josh/Maddy interaction (even if it was short) and Skye in scenes without Josh and not about Josh. I am pretty satisfied

How awesome was last night's episode?!

Okay so where to begin.

Jim/Zoe: Seriously love when we get scenes with the two of them. It really doesn't feel like they've been apart from each others lives at all and yet at the same time you can totally feel that re-connection going on.

I loved how Jim showed Zoe the "eye". That thing was awesome. And we got a sense of what life was like, seeing where Zoe was born and then them not having rollercoasters, can you imagine! I can kind of understand that in a way because I've heard of this theme park that was never used because of radiation surrounding the place so it's gone to rust and is basically a ghost town of sorts. But still in a way seeing Zoe do that virtual rollercoaster because she had only heard of them is kind of sad.

Maddy/Mark- OMG these two were the cutest! I loved how they were with each other in the field and then using that mush as camoflogue. And their first kiss, and them sleeping together. So adorable!

The Parasite- Okay that thing was just gross on so many levels! I mean I've heard of cases like that in our world but it still never ceases to freak me out some. And how cool was it that they had to resort to old fashioned surgery which is basically what we use currently. I seriously want their technology!

The Sixers- Always love when we get to see these guys. It sucked though when they were abusing the dinosaur. Clearly the change in location doesn't change human nature and they continue to abuse wild animals. That broke my heart.

Taylor's Son- So we finally met him! He's a shady character all ready but I kind of liked him. I so badly want to see more of him and what he's up to.

Final Thoughts- This show continues to get better every week.

Me and my sisters just watched Bylaw and Nightfall. Nightfall have to be one of the best Terra Nova episodes so far! Great action, cute moment between Jim and Zoe, a lot of love between Mark & Maddy and of course Hunter beeing hurt as usual

I went back to sleep after watching Nightfall and I hade seriously nightmares about that parasite! It kind of makes cestoda looks okay and those are usually more then 13 feet and can become more then 65 feet!

Awesome video

I just watched the episode and it has to be my favorite so far outside of the Pilot. All the interactions between characters were spot on and fantastic. I have to say that my MVPs of the episode are Jim/Zoe and Skye. Jim and Zoe were utter cuteness and I love the spider song . Skye gets points for once again being pretty selfless and a great friend by helping to yank the parasite out of her friend's stomach. I would really have to like someone to do that for them I also love that we got to see Taylor's son, but I find him sort of sketchy. I'm not sure he'll turn out to be a character I like or not. I'll have to wait and see

He had crazy eyes, but i like that he rattles Mira, she seemed almost scared of him and Mira doesn't seem to scare easily.

Wouldn't the 'box' be dead with the EM burst?

What massive whole in the plot are you talking about? Now I got curious if I have missed something

You kind of think that, but maybe it doesn't have a chip? Did not Zoe also comment that the eye still was online and Jim said something about seperate power source. Maybe the box and the eye have some kind of power source that is not effected by EMP.

We are counting the episode Genesis as one episode and not two. I think FOX too on their Terra Nova page counts it as one so Nightfall is episode 6

That's the whole, the EM burst fried all the electronic chips, but the box still works. Maybe, like the med bed coming back to life but hours later the rest of the power came back on.

Also they didn't notice the missing people for hours, wouldn't the first thing you'd do is a head count to check everyone is okay?

I like the show but it's little things like this that I just can't stand.

Most sites have 1&2 for the pilot, then 3-4-5 and so on. Not that it matters.

Well I understood it like it takes maybe a couple of minutes to make a new chip and the med bed got the first one because Hunter would not otherwise survive. And they probaly focused on geeting things like weapons, proximity mines and the clinic working before the light for the houses. BTW I have noticed they us a lot of solar panels and wind power, probably to make power and if they have been turned of for hours should not the power be gone? So maybe they have to be on for a couple of hours before they can produce enough power.

I read that it supposed to be about 1000 people in Terra Nova so I guess they missed that Mark & Maddy was missing in all that chaos. Because Riley also told Jim that his family was okay, so he probably thought Maddy was okay at home.

Well that is how I have perceived the episode at least

Yes I think it is the most common way to count the episodes, but we started with the thread about Genesis being only counted as one episode

I'm actually glad that no one noticed that Maddy and Mark were OTG. I was worried that once Jim found out that Mark had taken Maddy out that Jim would really not like Mark. I'm glad it all worked out for them and Maddy definitely played it well when everyone was back at the house and asking for her.
