10TIHAY S&S #7: A Pic A Day Keeps The Blues Away MOD please close
  Based on the same-named hit movie from 1999 this half-hour series returns to Padua High, where newcomers Kat (Lindsey Shaw) and Bianca (Meaghan Jette Martin) Stratford attempt to navigate the popular crowd and the opposite sex while dealing with their overprotective dad (Larry Miller). Kat is a strong-willed, confident kid with an eye toward her post-high-school life, while the only concern Bianca seems to have is how popular she becomes. But smooth sailing it won't be for the pair, especially in the company of head cheerleader Chastity (Dana Davis), love-struck nerds like Cameron (Nicholas Braun) and the school's mysterious bad boy, Patrick (Ethan Peck).  Episode 1-11: Da Repercussions Episode 1-12: Don’t Trust Me Episode 1-13: Great Expectations Episode 1-14: Hungry Heart   1. ABC Family renewed 10 Things (yay!), and it's probably coming back in early 2010, probably within a month of the Jan. 11 premieres of Make It or Break It and Secret Life of the American Teenager. As show runner Carter Covington told us this year, the back 10 episodes will include a lot of Patrick Verona (Ethan Peck) backstory and more of the love triangle between Bianca, Chastity and Joey. 2. For you fans of Kat and Patrick, you should know that one of the early episodes next year probably includes a new man in Kat's life. Don't panic, though—as far as we can see, new guy is kind of like Team Jacob. This new fella is a complication, but he's not really genuine competition for Patrick 3. When 10 Things (eventually!) returns, one of the Stratford girls is getting kissed, and one of the Stratford girls is going on a fancy dinner date with her man! 4.The new man in Kat's life is a good-looking kid known as Charles "Blank" Blankenship, and he's kind of like Kat's political, hypercapable doppelgänger. Think Bradley Whitford's Josh Lyman to Mary-Louise Parker's Amy Gardner from The West Wing.  credit: Priya |
