Spoilers So Far:

- There will be no shared episodes so either two characters will not have an episode, one is Pandora or the finale will be character centric and will be "Naomi"

- Katie may get pregnant by Cook (unconfirmed)

- There is a house party with all the gang there, where Cook gets into a fight. There's also a doughnut eating competition with Thomas and or Pandora. A girl is seen coming on to Naomi. JJ says to Thomas "it's tough seeing your ex with someone else" talking about another character (believed to be Cook).

- Emily leaves home

- Emily goes a bit off the rails

- Naomi/Emily have a serious scene at some point in a toilet

- Freddie/Effy, Cook and Katie have scenes at a carnival

- Cook/Effy will be developed later in S4

- Kaya said she only kisses one guy all series

- John Bishop (Rob Fitch) tweets confirm Rob appears in more than one episode and that there are Fitch family arguments. (Emily is ep 2 and Katie ep 4)

- Appears Effy has some type of emotional break down and is sent to a clinic to recover

- The character of Lara will become the girlfriend of JJ. She is a 17 year old single mother

- JB said Katie's episode is funny and sweet and she will have a lot more to do in S4

- Gordon Mcpherson (friend of James Fitch) will likely make an appearence

- Cook will have a lot to do in S4 and more of his family will appear. His mother and brother appear at least

- Thomas will have more to do in S4

- Tweets from cast and JB say: Effy and Katie share a scene in ep 4, JJ and Katie share a scene ep 7. Though it's unknown what they are about

- Will Young will appear in an episode as the college guidance councellor, Mr T Love in Freddie's episode

- We know that characters Ben, Candy, Sam and Lara will all appear at some point in S4

- Cook will have a bed scene (believed to be in the finale), unknown who with though

- It looks likely the final scene of S4 will not include Effy, Freddie, Cook, Katie, Thomas, or JJ. Not known yet who it will include of the other 3 characters

Episode synopsis:

Episode 2: Emily

Emily and Naomi are back at Roundview and seem as loved-up as ever. When the police turn up, they are both called in to be interviewed. Their names were listed by the family as close friends of Sophia's, even though Emily knows they'd never met her. Emily learns that Naomi was dealing pills with Cook in the club that night and sold one to Sophia. Behind Naomi's back, Emily visits Sophia's family - she needs to know why the family had their names. She discovers that the dead girl claimed to be best friends with Naomi and Emily. Whilst looking around Sophia's bedroom Emily secretly pockets a key.

Effy's return has drawn a line under Cook and Freddie's joint denial-fest. Though they keep their distance from Effy at first, Cook later sees Effy and Freddie get together. In haste he lashes out - assaulting a random party-goer - and gets nicked. Emily realises that the key she found is for Sophia's locker and inside she finds a shrine to Naomi. Was Sophia some kind of Naomi stalker?

Episode 3: Cook

Cook is up on a charge of GBH. Despite multiple witnesses, he insists on pleading not guilty, to the frustration of his brief, Duncan. He’s granted bail but given an electronic tagging order and curfewed to the house of his Mum.
Mum is Ruth Byatt, a famous contemporary artist. Returning for the first time in a while, Cook is reunited with his younger half-brother Paddy, who idolises him.

Episode 4: Katie

Since Rob Fitch Fitness went bust, Jenna has been the sole breadwinner in the Fitch family; her new wedding-planning business, Let’s Get Fitched, is thriving and Katie is her glamorous assistant. Their current clients are Dean & Brandy, a Bristol Rovers player and his WAG-to-be. Katie is in her element, looking forward to living the same dream one day.

It doesn't matter to me whether they've been to a party or not; dressing two white girls up in a manner that's stereotypical of a minority group is gross.

I don't see it as racist, probably not quite PC enough though. But I doubt Skins would go out of their way to do something racially offensive unless it was part of a storyline.

That confuses me. Why is that? It's a party... sometimes have themes. It's super natural.

I agree it's not intentionally racist, but it seems to indicate a certain ignorance on the writers' part, which disappoints me as I thought they were pretty in-tune with these things. I'll reserve full judgment of course until the episode actually airs and we see it in context, but I am dreading it.

If a party's theme is, for example, dressing up as celebrities then it still wouldn't be okay for a white person to don blackface and go as Lil Wayne. I can't explain it any better than this essay does so if you're really interested, I'll just say it's a stunning example of the ignorance of your (not you specifically, a general 'your') white privilege.

The mexican thing seems harmless... I'm Australian and I wouldn't get offended if they dressed in hats with corks dangling from the brim, wore flip flops and drank Fosters, lol. It's obvs just a dress up party.

I hope Gordon McPherson makes an appearance this episode!

I just watched ep 1 again... favourite line is what Pandora says to Thomas after he asks if he can come it "No, you ****er". love it

What ignorance? People dress up else all the time for parties. Would it be different if they were dressed up as brazilians? Americans? So, because they're white they can't dress up as mexicans?

Yes. When you are a part of a group that has historically aggressively oppressed other cultures for centuries, it is not okay to stereotype them as a joke for a costume. Racism continues to exist not only due to actual hatred of marginalized groups, but because of the ignorance of people higher on the social hierarchy who do not recognize their own privilege.

I know we've seen a fair bit of footage already for ep2 but I'd totally be fine with it if E4 decide to release more, lol.
