Airdate: 05.10.10

During a session with Dr. Nolan (guest star Braugher), House recounts the case of a woman who arrives at the Princeton Plainsboro emergency room with an unexplained illness and no recollection of who she is. • A woman (guest star Zoe McLellan) arrives at the Princeton Plainsboro emergency room with an unexplained illness and no recollection of who she is. While trying to solve the mystery of the woman's illness, House must also help her piece together her identity.

Episode: 6.22 - Help Me
Airdate: 05.17.10

THE TEAM ASSISTS AT THE SCENE OF AN EMERGENCY Cuddy, House and members of the team join forces with a search-and-rescue team to provide much-needed medical attention at the scene of an emergency.
  • The sixth season finale takes the Princeton Plainsboro team outside the hospital as they join forces with a search-and-rescue team to provide medical attention at the scene of an emergency.
  • As we might have guessed (but were never told) House has been seeing Dr Nolan regularly since he left the sanatorium. The episode begins with House in a therapy session with Nolan, telling him about his week. Wilson has asked him to move out since he and Sam are now together. He also talks about his newest patient, who is a woman with amnesia. House is not in a good state.

He goes to check on his old apartment, and finds Alvie has been living there without his knowledge. He is surprised to see him, but in the end is happy that he is there, for he is a substitute for Wilson in House's loneliness. Wilson visits House and finds him with Alvie. House focuses his attention on Alvie, and pays relatively little attention to Wilson, as if trying to show him that he does not need him.

We learn that House has been pawning some of his possessions: his finances are apparently not in great order. Now however, House wants these back, but when he goes to the pawn-shop he finds that some of them have already been sold, especially a book he apparently puts some special value on.

Wilson discovers this, and finds out the address of the person who bought the book. He gives this to House, who tries to buy the book back, but without success. Alvie, when he learns of this, goes to the address and steals the book for House.

Apparently House has been involved in disturbing things, unbeknownst to his friends; in particular, he was involved in a fight in a bar while he was drunk. Nolan discovers this, and apparently tells Wilson, who apparently tells Cuddy, for she pages him to come to her office, ostensibly to talk about the patient. When he gets there he discovers Wilson there as well. The details of what happens there are not clear, but it is almost certainly a discussion of his behavior, and is an attempt by his friends to help him. It looks like he rejects these efforts.

Wilson is very worried about House, and after he discusses it with Sam, he asks House to come back to live in his apartment. House predictably refuses.

House now asks Alvie to leave: he tells him he wants to be by himself. The last scene shows him in a therapy session with Nolan. When he leaves, he makes clear that he is not going to come back.

As I mentioned, Cuddy is still with Lucas in this episode. She gets only 2 scenes. Thanks to ppistachio at fanpop (who I think was quoting from somewhere else).
  • Episode 22 is called "Help Me".

It begins with Cuddy acting strangely, though no reason is given. House looks for her, and when he finds her she tells him that there has been a bad incident in New York City, and that doctors are being called from every hospital to help. It is not clear if this is an accident or a terrorist attack. House, Cuddy and Foreman go to the site.

When they get there, they find a man trapped, Foreman pulls him out, and follows him into the ambulance to PPTH. House and Cuddy stay at the site, where there is a woman trapped. House enters the site, leaving Cuddy outside. While there, House figures out why Cuddy is acting oddly.

Then House hear an explosion, finds a way to enter the debris, and crawls into a tunnel where he sees a woman. He leaves the debris to ask for help, and while there he talks to Cuddy. What happens between them I do not know, but whatever it is, it does not involve him: something happened to her the night before, and she is very happy about it.

Meanwhile at PPTH the team is working on the first man.

House enters the debris again and goes to where the woman is trapped. He begins to work on her. There is a second crash and it is clear that they need to go out as soon as possible, but to do this, House must hurt the woman. She is scared¦ House tries to comfort her, but there is a bitter edge to it: he tells the patient she has to get out since she has a life, though he does not.

The patient is pulled out and rushed to PPTH in an ambulance but she dies on the way. House arrives at the ER and hears the news. He is crushed.

He leaves, goes back home, enters the bathroom quickly, and take 2 vicodin tablets.

Spoiler Columns
  • Question: Do you know anything about House’s season finale? —Eva

    Ausiello
: I know it will raise some big questions about a certain character’s future on the show.

  • Question: We need a sex scene on House with House this season. Could be any woman and I’ll be happy. —Bete

Ausiello: Ask and you shall receive: I can confirm that House will partake in a one-night stand towards the end of the season. And it’s quite possible his little lady friend is someone we’ve met before. Also, look for Andre Braugher to reprise his role as House’s shrink, Dr. Nolan, for at least one episode in May. Could that have something to do with this? (That’s not rhetorical, I really want to know.)
  • Question: Is Lisa Edelstein leaving House? I read about that and I’m sad. —Camila
    Ausiello
: I assume you’re referring to comments Edelstein made to Jewish Exponent that seemed to suggest she was planning to move on next season when her contract expired. Well, relax. Edelstein’s not going anywhere. “The question behind that quote was regarding life after House,” she clarifies. ”I’m not planning on leaving, I just don’t count my chickens before they hatch. Since I’m only owned for seven years at the moment, seven is what I said. However, if they want me for more I’m raring to go. I love my job!” Glad that’s settled.

Question: Where will Wilson’s ex-wife (Cynthia Watros) be living when she shows up on House? I can’t imagine she’ll be shacking up with House and Wilson.—Dana
    Ausiello:
“She hasn’t moved in, but she’s around a lot,” says Robert Sean Leonard, who reveals that Watros’ meatiest scenes are actually with Hugh Laurie. “I have the least to do in a way [of the three of us]. The whole dynamic of this is: the first wife returns, House hates her, and wants to start spying. I’m kind of the guy in the middle trying to keep peace. But it’s a lot of fun to watch Cynthia and Hugh tear into their scenes.”
  • Question: Will House recover from whatever it is that landed him in the psycho ward? --Catherine
    Ausiello:
You mean will he stop being crazy? "No," says Robert Sean Leonard. "It would be like Quincy suddenly getting nice and loving examining dead bodies. There are certain things that are just givens about the show, and one is the general makeup of House’s attitude and personality. He may stop hallucinating but he’d never stop being sarcastic." Adds series creator David Chase: "It depends on how we define better. That is the question. How sick is he? Does House want to get better? Can he get better? And how much better? And how much will the team be told and how will the dynamic shift with House away? Those are the questions we are going to deal with in the first bunch of episodes, and perhaps even the whole season to a certain extent."

it would be fair to keep the one that was posted first, and that was the other one.

though, the other one doesn't have a title yet.

*is not comfortable without weekly huddy dose*

or are they simply saving all the huddy scenes for the 5 to 9 eppy?

Thanks for the new thread

My anger towards TPTB has only got worse since J-Mo has spoken out and said that it wasn't her choice to leave. We all kind of guessed that but now to see it confirmed just saddens and infuriates me. This has a bearing on the episodes coming up. As much as I like Cuddy, I do not think we need an episode devoted solely to her, especially after we just had one with Wilson. I won't say how I really feel right now because it will offend and it's not my true opinion.

I agree. I find cuddy VERY predictable as a character so thats the main reason why i think an episode filled with cuddy is unnecessary...to tell the truth the promo doesnt get me very excited

basically its just a selfish thing lol...any episodes that are centred around foreman/cuddy/taub i find quite boring cos imo theyre not the most interesting characters in the show. im surprised at how many storylines foreman gets actually...i know the internet is a fraction of House's fanbase but i swear i never see anyone profess their love for him lol.
