Spoilers So Far:

- There will be no shared episodes so either two characters will not have an episode or one won't and the finale is a character centric episode

- Katie may get pregnant by Cook (unconfirmed)

- There is a house party with all the gang there, where Cook gets into a fight. There's also a doughnut eating competition with Thomas and or Pandora. A girl is seen coming on to Naomi. JJ says to Thomas "it's tough seeing your ex with someone else" talking about another character (believed to be Cook).

- Emily leaves home

- Emily goes a bit off the rails

- Naomi/Emily have a serious scene at some point in a toilet

- Freddie/Effy, Cook and Katie have scenes at a carnival

- Cook/Effy will be developed later in S4

- We know that characters Ben, Candy, Sam and Lara will all appear at some point in S4

- Cook will have a bed scene (believed to be in the finale), unknown who with though

- It looks likely the final scene of S4 will not include Effy, Freddie, Cook, Katie, Thomas, or JJ. Not known yet who it will include of the other 3 characters

How many times has the cast used the term roller coaster? It's like they were told to do so.

Btw, in that bts video that showed up, did I get it right and there's a party at Effy's?

That's why I thought it was a fitting title. Lily, Kat, Luke and Kaya have all used roller coaster to describe S4.

Yes it said there's a party in Effy's house. It must be Freddie's or JJ's episode because Effy's seems to be set at the clinic.

I thought I should repost the episode synopsis's:

Episode 1: Thomas

The gang are at one of Thomas’ club nights. Cook is in the midst of his summer of debauchery, Freddie is learning that love can take you to the edge of sanity and there is heady dancing from the girls.

Tonight is no ordinary night, however, as there is an accident leaving Thomas feeling responsible. He is shocked into questioning his role with in society and feeling alienated from his peers, he turns closer to God and the African community - and in doing so, isolates everyone around him.

Episode 2: Emily

Emily and Naomi are back at Roundview and seem as loved-up as ever. When the police turn up, they are both called in to be interviewed. Their names were listed by the family as close friends of Sophia's, even though Emily knows they'd never met her. Emily learns that Naomi was dealing pills with Cook in the club that night and sold one to Sophia. Behind Naomi's back, Emily visits Sophia's family - she needs to know why the family had their names. She discovers that the dead girl claimed to be best friends with Naomi and Emily. Whilst looking around Sophia's bedroom Emily secretly pockets a key.

Effy's return has drawn a line under Cook and Freddie's joint denial-fest. Though they keep their distance from Effy at first, Cook later sees Effy and Freddie get together. In haste he lashes out - assaulting a random party-goer - and gets nicked. Emily realises that the key she found is for Sophia's locker and inside she finds a shrine to Naomi. Was Sophia some kind of Naomi stalker?

Episode 3: Cook

Cook is up on a charge of GBH. Despite multiple witnesses, he insists on pleading not guilty, to the frustration of his brief, Duncan. He’s granted bail but given an electronic tagging order and curfewed to the house of his Mum.
Mum is Ruth Byatt, a famous contemporary artist. Returning for the first time in a while, Cook is reunited with his younger half-brother Paddy, who idolises him.

Episode 4: Katie

Since Rob Fitch Fitness went bust, Jenna has been the sole breadwinner in the Fitch family; her new wedding-planning business, Let’s Get Fitched, is thriving and Katie is her glamorous assistant. Their current clients are Dean & Brandy, a Bristol Rovers player and his WAG-to-be. Katie is in her element, looking forward to living the same dream one day.

Ollie's DS interview makes his episode sound a bit crap tbh. I like JJ alot but I don't want a stand alone episode, that will mean hardly any of the others in it and that's not fair, especially if the finale is a character episode.

He descrobed how S4 ended as final and that we can see how all the characters have progressed. So thankfully it sounds like it will be a definite ending and none of S2 openended stuff. He also said it's brilliant. So even if it's looking very likely it's Naomi's, it sounds like the others will get their endings as well in it. So no one needs to worry, except Naomi fans have a right to be a bit annoyed that she looks likely to share her episode with everyone elses storyline finales.

I reckon JJ/Lara are endgame from the way he reacted to the question of a JJ happy ending. And JB is such a moron he said JJ's dad doesn't appear and Ollie said he does.

There's this one and also JJ apparently working at the same place as Thomas. It'd be nice if there's more discussion about Uni/work/life after 6th form than so far, never seems to be implied or mentioned much with gen 2.

Anyway, if the spoiler's legit, I really hope Katie gets fed up of that job quickly - so far, it does suit her and there's plenty of comedy potential, but I'd prefer her to just sack it off and enjoy having a life, as opposed to acting how everyone else thinks she's supposed to.

I'm looking forward to it, I really like JJ and it'd be great seeing him outside of the confines of Cook/Freddie. I loved 307 for similar reasons (apart from the obvious) and he was the only reason I bothered re-watching 310.

Their relationship could be a big (surprise) hit with the fans IMHO.

In fairness I'm not sure how much JB/any writer can influence the screenplay. What they come up with won't always be the same as what's canned (he admitted as much a while back) - he's a co-creator and writes eps but I doubt any one person has that much control over the show.

I wasn't talking Cook/Freddie/Effy Gryf, he already said they will be in it a little bit, as will Thomas. I meant the others Emily, Naomi, Katie and Panda. They sound like they will have barely any screentime if any in his ep.

As for him and Lara, she will be the equivalant of what James was for Maxxie in S2, and only be in a couple of so episodes, so I don't see why the viewers would particulary really love them as a couple. I always figured JJ would get endgame so I'd be surprised if he doesn't.

JJ/Lara and Naomily are the only ones I can really see ending in a relationship. I just got the impression from both Merv's and Lisa's interviews that T/P have no chance at endgame. And Effy I would be shocked if she ends anything but single.

Well, a lot of characters apparently don't have like any screentime in the first ep, so maybe it's just balancing it out.

Personally I like JJ's ep/story being slightly detached, we see his individuality more that way.

I remember James being in one scene where Maxxie introduced him in college, the Coach to London at the end, and in the odd other one (please correct if wrong, S2 did pass me by somewhat), though he seemed fairly incidental to Maxxie's storyline. Lara doesn't - she seems fairly significant to the way JJ moves forward.

IA about T/P, Effy not sure, Naomily together.

Totally agree. JJ/Lara may end up being cute, but I don't see them as become well-loved.
