Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed.

Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. NOT CONFIRMED Chuck Bass is having trouble dealing with the mystery that was his father and the way in which his spare time was managed.
Nate Archibald catches Vanessa flirting with another guy, and at a moment of desperation, reluctantly turns to Blair for help.
Dan Humphrey purposely ignores Serena's calls and tells Miss Carr that things are beyond complicated between the two of them. Meanwhile, Miss Carr chooses not to take her job back at Constance and spends most of her time in an empty apartment with her new fling, who doesn't seem to be quite grieving from his recent break-up.
At the same time, Lily and Rufus question where their relationship is going and talk casually about merging their households. Chuck however, is against the idea, and does everything in his power to stop it.

Schwartz did say that Michelle Trachtenberg would be back around April and May as troublemaker Georgina Sparks, and Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) would remain at the forefront of the show.
"We get that that [relationship] works for people," Schwartz said with a laugh.
He also noted that many of the show's teen characters "graduate at the end of this year -- that's going to be a very big deal and it will shape direction of the show heading into Season 3."

I think it's pretty obvious that DS are endgame, but I also think CB have almost as much chance (if not just as much chance) of being endgame as DS do.

There has been a season and a half build up so far to CB, Josh has repeatedly talked about loving their story, and S and B are the only girls D and C have ever cared about. N, on the other hand, has two other options with Jenny and Vanessa. I doubt they would destroy the couples they've worked so hard on building up to accommodate N when they have so many other options for him.

I bet that even if CB don't end up together, it'll still be made clear in the finale that they are meant for each other.

but that would be going the direction of a triangle and Josh HATES triangles. Unless like B or C ends the season with a random.

I think so far NB have next to no chance of being endgame. This might change in season 8, but as it is CB are the couple that are written to be endgame.

Yeah it was just another lame OMFG moment. I hate it when people say it was in character though, because it totally wasn't.

I thought they were going to fake us out and it wouldn't be sexual at all - which would be the best thing.

I still think the Jack/Blair secret needs to come out. The fact that there was a secret made it into the final episode and if they don't resolve it, GG is going to look pretty bad.

It's really too bad that GG ended with 2.17 for a month. Everyone I've talked to recently is like, "Gossip Girl's been really bad lately." But whe I ask them what they didn't like, they only talk about the teacher story line and say they liked it better "when Jack was on."

Which means it's just this one episode that's getting everyone down, haha. But, for one whole month and more, it's the only episode they are going to remember. And that's not good.

LOL. I'm talking about ultimate endgame. I am not of the opinion that is it ever to early to recognize endgame. Shows could end at any time, and the producers have to know what story they want to tell.

So I'm saying that in the last episode of the last season, Chuck and Blair will be together. And if, for some reason they are not, they will look at each other in a certain way or say something that will make it clear that one day it will happen.

The only way this wouldn't happen is if one of the actors quits or another actor pulls a Wilmer Valderrama.

Exactly, Blair didn't want to give it up at all for a reeeally long time, there was no way in hell she'd ever just do it with Jack.

Exactly! I don't understand why the CW can't just give GG more episodes, they know people would watch it, and they're actually risking loosing viewers with this long ass wait!
