Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed.

Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. Nate Archibald catches Vanessa flirting with another guy, and at a moment of desperation, reluctantly turns to Blair for help.
Dan Humphrey purposely ignores Serena's calls and tells Miss Carr that things are beyond complicated between the two of them. Meanwhile, Miss Carr chooses not to take her job back at Constance and spends most of her time in an empty apartment with her new fling, who doesn't seem to be quite grieving from his recent break-up.
At the same time, Lily and Rufus question where their relationship is going and talk casually about merging their households. Chuck however, is against the idea, and does everything in his power to stop it.

"We get that that [relationship] works for people," Schwartz said with a laugh.
He also noted that many of the show's teen characters "graduate at the end of this year -- that's going to be a very big deal and it will shape direction of the show heading into Season 3."

Now I'm confuzzled. The date for 2.21 suggests it is after the hiatus. But at some point it wasn't because the little bold letters say the hiatus is between 2.21 and 2.22...

Sigh. All I know is that if the coda is NB kissing and then there is a hiatus, I am going to be SO ANNOYED. Although, the dates just suggest a 2 week hiatus. So maybe it'll be okay?

Okay, so this is going to be random, but I was just re-watching the S2 premiere, and I totally forgot about how Chuck initially reacted to Blair/LM. When he believed she was deceiving him he set out to prove it, but during the "green brunch" when he saw Marcus with the pin, he was actually ready to let her go. He calmly asked if he meant the same thing to her as Nate, and then he said he'd see her at school. I think it's a misconception that Chuck goes after Blair when she's happy with someone else. He actually seems to avoid her when she's happy with someone else. He only goes after her when he thinks she's playing him with someone else. Just thought I'd point that out, because I think he'll play this NB thing the same way. He'll think it's fake, plot something, then Blair will say it's real, and he'll sadly back off. I just wonder if this will all go down in episode 20, or if 21 continues it. GG speeds through so much, there is no way to tell.

That's exactly how I feel about it. Chuck only goes after Blair if he thinks she's trying to test him. If he believes she really cares about the other person, he's done. But the second he thinks something is off (princeton/georgtown), or that Blair is just trying to make him jealous (most of 2.01), he goes all-out.
