Tanique- You asked me my thoughts on Logan on the last thread. He reminds me of how arrogant and oboxious Patrick was at the beginning and I just think it's overkill at this point. Besides, do we really need ANOTHER new character? Currently, I just feel he's unnecessary and his whole attitude just pisses me off because that's exactly how they wrote Patrick in the beginning. Of course, the tide will turn once he finds love. WTF-ever. It bores me.

And, I swear, if Carly declares her "independence" one more friggin' time (in WORDS only, mind you), I am going to throw her off the damn bridge that Jason and Elizabeth always be having their "heart-to-heart" talks every other day! Give me a break. All that "I choose me" BS (like Kelly from 90210) is just annoying the hell out of me especially when she doesn't mean a word of it.

thanks for the new thred. although honestly if you saw GL this year, you'd be pissed. i don't get how gh got best writing but not show. for me, the laura saga, was emmy worthy.

onto logan, i agree. he's cocky, he doesn't really annoy me yet. he's his father's son. what i HATE is that there are now like 5 young guys. that is really too much. and i HATEEEEL when we see the writing on the wall, this blatantly. is there only one way for a new character to be introduced? spare us all.

UGH. you know i thought of kelly when carly did her corny i want to be alone bit. at least kelly was in her early 20s. carly is damn near 40 and still can't make a decision. again, i saw brenda need a break from both, been there done that.

I agree, the Laura saga was Emmy-worthy to be nonimated. So they can win for the writing of that storyline. Even the abortion storyline or Alexis' cancer. But the show as a WHOLE to win an Emmy this year? Hmm. Not so much. But that's just me.

I am PISSED that Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonson from DOOL didn't get nominated. They seriously owned the storyline of Zack's death.

trust me, i'm with you. but compared to the horrendous year that gl had. gh was way better in their 2 isolated stories and i honestly have no idea what B&B submitted.

whole year? no, but gh is above most when they do their 2 stories for the year. so many of the nominees this year are being rewarded for isolated episodes, not the full year. so, my thing is, until the formula changes, i think when GH was great, they were at the top of the heap.

hmm i heard peter and kristin were really good. i'm still getting over maurice and eric braeden, and trevor st john. i knew the show was on cbs when i saw the nominees. NOT a good year, across the board.

what is sad, and we know it's a gh thing. shows know to write for emmy's, no matter how much they deny it. but GL, took it to a new level, with their special wed's. that is all the actors submit. so they put all their good stuff into one day a week, or did. it's so blatant, it's a shame. meanwhile the rest of the week will suck.

it seems like so long ago, i was able to watch my soaps straight through.

ugh, i just read that ted king quit. i knew it was coming, they did nothing with him. but im PISSED!!!! they friggin write for 1000 new people, but do nothing with him. i'm not happy.

i'll never get why they didn't utilize him.

I think for GH to have a good chance at an Emmy next year, they'll have to bring in the Patrick/Robin pregnancy storyline. That could be some good soap opera TV.

he quit. no surprise they barley made him a storyline after him and sonny fought for carly. why so many men fight over carly, am i missing something here?

im really looking forward to scrubs baby, that may get them nominated for an emmy.

Is it confirmed? Can an actor quit while on contract? Does that leave a possibility to get sued?

no no, not quits as in middle of contract. he is just not resigning. he left a message on his site.

so, yes its confirmed. his contract is up in may. i truly suspect they'll kill lorenzo, why? because it's gh.
