Preview for next ep, put up after each ep FOX Prison Break: American Express Fat Joe 1-800-528-4800  New characters on Fox's "Prison Break" -- which will find Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and the gang locked up in a Panama prison next season -- include a mysterious fisherman who apparently is wrongfully imprisoned there, a beautiful local woman who is the fisherman's girlfriend, a Panamanian drug kingpin and a female freelance operative with a government organization. Next season, Will Prison Break be all about breaking out of jail again? EXECUTIVE PRODUCER PAUL SCHEURING SAYS: It will start with that, but by the midpoint of the season Michael [Wentworth Miller] will find himself immersed in circumstances far removed from the aims that drove him in the previous two seasons - escape and exoneration. Sona Penitentiary is the antithesis of Fox River. Five minutes into the new season Michael will virtually be pining for the sanity and safety of Fox River. And, of course, there's the little matter of the secret concealed in the crawl space beneath the A wing New series regulars: The very mysterious ' Whistler', shrewd, enigmatic, 30ish charter fisherman, who is in a Panamanian jail.Sofia, beautiful girlfriend of Whistler. Question: I know it's early, but got anything on Prison Break's third season?— Natalie Ausiello: Haven't you learned anything from Ask Ausiello? There's no such thing as too early when it comes to scoop. Case in point: Prison Break producers are already hard at work casting a slew of new series-regular roles, including a male in his forties (King Kong's Thomas Kretschmann is the prototype) and a strong-willed female in her thirties (likely a love interest for Lincoln). Question: Any Prison Break scoop?— Krista Hull Ausiello:Only what my colleague Matt Mitovich told you last week in his news blog: Producers have put out a casting call for Michael's new Panamanian cell mate — a wrongfully imprisoned fisherman. Prison Break Season Three - Prison Will Keep Them Together Prison Break left us with some puzzling ideas about what sort of plot season three might have. On one hand, mysterious military scientists are keeping a close eye on the Michael situations, with an eerie expectation of what he will do. Is Prison Break going to be adopting a quasi SciFi slant? On the other hand, Mahone, alive and not so well in the head, is in the same Prison as Michael, as is Bellick, whose name isn't Bellick anymore but still starts with a B. So where are they going with all this? Prison Break producers are beginning to drop hints, but its going to be a long long time before we know for sure. For starters, there is talk that the title might change. But with the ending, that seems unlikely. Also, rumors are, currently, that Michael's stay in the dangerous new locale of Sona won't be short lived at all. This implies a still semi-split band of characters. Linc, Sara, and whatever new baddies are on the outside (in addition to T-Bag), and Michael, Mahone, and Bellick who are now on the inside. Will the mysterious watchers in lab coats become yet another dimensions in this plot? It would seem likely they would be stored for future use since they hint at a larger reveal of the bankable variety. Linc will no doubt hook up with Sara at some point, a point at which she is going to have to convince Linc she didn't turn on Michael to save her own skin, and Linc is going to have to figure out how to bust Michael out of the Panamanian death trap of a prison. In terms of the characters being spread out all over the place, Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring hinted to Reuters that we will see a group like dynamic form yet again. “It essentially will be a new chapter, it’s going to return to the fundamental conceit, to the roots of what the show was about. They got scattered in the winds — their stories became separate and defused. They will come back together again. Intriguing and mysterious, he's Bill Kim's taciturn boss; unwilling to be overheard on the phone, he controls Kim's telephone conversations with terse notes ripped from an ever-present pad of paper. Spoilers for 2.22:
-Lincoln is cleared of all charges while he and Michael are in Panama. -Michael goes to jail (Sona). -Michael has the 5 million by episode 22 and tries to bribe Dejesus with $100,000. -The Dejesus character will likely be in the season 3 premiere as well. |
