Kali and Zohar are open for anyone who wants to play them, but if no one wants them and all the spots get filled up, I will play them.

NOTE: This is my own completely made up mythology. To my knowledge, none of this is true, so don't get mad at me, this is just fiction.

The war had been raging for centuries, each bloody year proving more unfruitful than the last. The witches and vampires had long been fueding amongst themselves, hiding the war and carnage from the humans.

Neither side would admit it, but their origins came from the same mother, the divine mother, Uma. Uma gave birth to twin daughters: Zohar (light) and Kali (dark).

Zohar was an obedient child who loved the earth and Kali was a rowdy child who was cruel. They looked just alike, but couldn't be anymore different.

One day while playing by a stream, both Zohar and Kali were bitten by a snake and were poisoned. Uma knew the girls would die if she did not find help, so she petitioned the god Brahma and his consort Saraswati to help her.

Brahma agreed to help, but the poison from the snake was deadly and to effect fast and the little girls died. The only one who could help Uma now was the destroyer, Shiva. The great god would have to bring the two children back to life.

He did so, but there were consequences. Zohar had to live off of the elements, and she was charged with keeping them in balance, for bringing her and her sister back to life had caused a disruption in the balance of the world.

Zohar became the first witch.

Kali was made to live off the blood of other humans. The life force blood contained was the only thing that could sustain her. She was also charged with handling supernatural beings (demons, shapeshifters, etc.).

Kali became the first vampire.

Soon, Kali's appetite for blood and destruction took over and she became evil, while Zohar used her magic to try and stop Kali's reign of terror.

Throughout the centuries, the story of the origin of witches and vampires has been lost. The witches have formed a group called The Covenant who track and kill vampires. The vampires have formed a group called The Hunters, who track and kill witches.

However, not all vampires are evil and not all witches are good. You can decide if you want to be vampire or witch, but I would like to try to have an equal number of both.

These vampires can go out in the sun, holy water and crosses don't bother them, wood and silver are poisonous to them. Also, Zohar is immortal, thought the other witches aren't.
