people can call me biased all they want, but the Oscar should have gone to Jen for Winter's Bone. seven years later, it is still an intense and riveting film, and looks damn great on blu-ray.
i fell asleep during Kids Are Alright, god it was slow and lacked anything to get my attention. Black Swan i have watched only once, and it just left me as confused and unwilling to want more, same as others like Memento and The Salton Sea. i lost interest in Rabbit Hole after 15 minutes, just bored to tears with Nicole Kidman lately tbh, really only ever liked her in first movie role in Dead Calm, and as the doc in Days of Thunder. Blue Valentine was a waste of my red box free codes, and i have yet to be interested by any character played by Michelle Williams.
Jen was the clear winner in the 2011 nominees, bias or no bias. she was robbed.
