Ive only a couple chapters to go before I finish Leonard and its been an exciting ride. Learning that Nimoy and Shatner did not really become friends until after the original series was a bit jarring. Yep thats right. It was during conventions and the early movies that their friendship solidified. Plus Nimoy was there for Shatner when Shatner lost his third wife. They really were like brothers. And they mention Nimoy's son Adam as part of the story, who suffered his own addictions like his father which shows even heroes can falter. It just makes me love them all the more.
