Yeah, I was not invested in them at all. It's not that I hated them. There was just nothing to really connect me to the story. I'm glad they had each other for a while though.
It is interesting how they had both couples break up around the same time. I remember thinking, hmm, so maybe Bay & Emmett won't break up since they just had Mary Beth and Travis end things. But alas, I was wrong.
That being said, yeah, I could see a potential Travis/Bay romance or a near hit and miss.
