Age: Far too old to be watching teen shows, but I have teenage daughters as cover
Location: Not far from London
Why do you love the show?: I love the explorations of different cultures, esp. Deaf. At its best, it's compelling, and has a complexity that I don't often associate with TV aimed at a teenage demographic.
Fav character?: Can't decide between Bay and Emmett
Fav couple?: Bay/Emmett, but I do all sorts of non-canon shipping in my head.
Other boards you post on: None! This is the first time I've posted on any TV-related message board.
Anything else: This show has reignited a love of sign language for me (my BSL, once fluent, is now rather rusty). One of my daughters is also hooked on the show, and is picking up an interesting mix of BSL and ASL as a result. Really hoping that at some point we might actually see it being aired on TV in the UK.
