I agree that turning down the Devil Wears Prada probably didn't really help her career. Also the gap between 2005-2009 was too big, I know she did Married Life and The Lucky Ones but I guess it would have been better if she did maybe one feature film in those years. She kind of had to come-back after an amazing 2005.
I know some people 'blame' Ryan for her career choices in those years, I'm not really a fan of blaming other people - I mean in the end she made those choices herself - but I guess it's also a shame the movie Ryan was trying to make in 2006 with him directing and Rachel starring could have been also good for both of their careers.
