I couldn't agree more, he always put HER & her happiness first, it was never 'well I love her, so she should be with me' it was 'I love her, so I want her to be happy'
he always supported her in any way that he could & you're so right about after she rejected him, he didn't go down the road of trying to win her over, he accepted it the best he could & continued to do what he'd always done; put her first
