I'm an oldy too. But basically the old-school websites are all gone. And it's frustrating because for years I've been looking for this challenge fic that was written by a B/Aer during S3/S4 I think. She said she disliked S/B even though it was UC then and that's why it came out a lot darker than what she figured the person who challenged her would expect. I think the word sunshine was in the title? And um, it was a short fic where Buffy was in an abusive relationship with Spike. And there's this part where he's really nasty to her in front of Xander and Willow. And then there's this other part where they're having sex and she's crying. It's a one-shot where he basically treats her like Harmony. Ring any bells?
