"I think there are a lot of great performers out there now. Beyoncé, great voice. Alicia Keys, great voice. Christina Aguilera, great voice. There are a lot of great singers who are going to have a lot of longevity, don't you think?" she says. "If they've got good mentors and good management, they will be able to succeed and have longevity in this industry. It's a business more than just the show."

Outspoken singer CHRISTINA AGUILERA will reportedly get engaged to boyfriend JORDAN BRATMAN very soon.
Bratman has put in an order for a stunning $54,000 (GBP30,000) 20-carat diamond engagement ring with celebrity jeweller STEPHEN WEBSTER, according to British newspaper the NEWS OF THE WORLD.
A source close to the ring designer whispers, "Christina and Jordan have been together for a while now and feel ready to settle down.
"Jordan is sure Christina is the one and he can't wait to make it official, but he decided to wait until her birthday to propose, to make it really extra special."
The GENIE IN A BOTTLE singer met Bratman, who is a leading figure at her management company IRVING AZOFF, 18 months ago and she recently gushed, "I love my guy so much. I'd really like to get married."

Tina's Paparazzi Court Battle
While news of Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake's run-in with paparazzi made headlines this week, Christina Aguilera dealt with a similar problem of her own. A judge in Los Angeles listened to arguments Wednesday about an incident earlier this year in which one of Aguilera's bodyguards allegedly punched a photographer in the mouth.

LONDON (Reuters) - U2's new single "Vertigo" has charged to the top of the singles charts, knocking last week's top tune, "Just Lose It", by rapper Eminem down to third place, the Official UK Charts Company says.
The single is part of the veteran Irish rockers' new album, "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb", set for release on November 22.
American girl supergroup Destiny's Child held onto second place in the charts for a second week, while boy band Blue's new single "Curtain Falls" made its debut in the charts at number four.
American R&B crooner Usher stayed at fifth place for a second week with "Confessions Part II/My Boo", while
American singer Christina Aguilera's "Car Wash", featuring Missy, dropped two places to number six.
Britney Spears' "My Prerogative" slid from third place to seventh, but Swedish DJ Eric Prydz's "Call On Me" stayed at number eight.
Rounding up the top ten, Delta Goodrem's new entry "Out of the Blue", went straight into the charts at number nine, pushing British R&B singer Jamelia's "DJ/Stop" into tenth place.
