In the fickle world of Hollywood, where dating is
fashionable and relationships last about as long as the lifespan
of a gnat, Vanessa and Zac have been able to buck this particular
trend. It amazes some, especially considering their youth. To others,
like myself, it just reinforces the belief that these two are the
essence of love. They have put up with the increased scrutiny and
curiosity that came with their rising stars, which was especially trying
in parts of the last quarter of 2007, undoubtedly a low point in both
of their short lives. Yet through all the stress, trauma and drama of that
time one thing never changed – their relationship endured and, if recent
candids can be taken as proof, emerged all the stronger. Also remarkably,
even long stretches apart do little to dampen the strength of their bond.
Once Zac finally came back stateside for the start of filming for HSM3
they were soon seen demonstrating the synchronicity that comes with
innate knowledge of the rhythm of the other’s body. It was as if three
months away from each other had never happened, so in tune were
their steps. Their belief in each other has been tested by distance and
scandal; they have borne the pressure of being a Hollywood “It” couple;
but ultimately with hopeful hearts they continue to endure and thrive
with each other.

L O V E never ends…

For nearly three years we have had the privilege of watching this
relationship mature and progress. Throughout that time, Vanessa
and Zac have continually demonstrated the actions that, for me,
ultimately define love: patience, kindness, thinking of the other above
all else, support of each other and a willingness to work at their relationship
so that it endures even the toughest challenges. Happily all signs indicate
that they are still going strong so that the last action – that of love never
ending – is almost a certainty. I remain in awe of the fact that we can look
at a photograph of these two from the very beginning of their budding
romance and still see the same look on their faces even today. That look of
wonder, of adoration and – dare I say – love? Because if this isn’t love, then
I don’t want love; I want what they have, and so should we all.

D e d i c a t i o n & G r a t i t u d e
When I took over this landmark thread again, I remember feeling
rushed and scrambling for ideas. It was only two weeks ago that this all
started to roll in motion and I, for one, kind of liked it. It may have been
rushed in the beginning but smoothed itself out with a group of amazing
people. I won't be singling anyone out, but I just like to thank everyone
for being here and participating in this thread. It's been an amazing ride
so far, hasn't it? And I know for sure we'll have many more landmarks
in our future.

some of you may be wondering where a few of the quotes came from,
the ones that don't really fit and you know zac nor vanessa said. well,
that's where the surprise comes in. when i first joined fanforum and
participated in my first milestone thread for rory and logan of gilmore
girls, we had a 'fan of the thread'- one that stood out from the rest and had
shown dedication to this couple, not more than anyone else, but it was
prominent that this poster had no signs of abandoning her 'ship. and to
christen this thread, i present to you the fan of the thread/couple: Holden

she was not chosen because she is moderator of this board; she was chosen
because from day one on the D I S N E Y board that she loves this couple, they
are her 'ship and although she is now scarce at the z a c e f r o n board, she is
nowhere near scarce from this one. the quotes you see, are hers and from the
very first threads that were opened here on vanessa's board. so, to holden, this
thread is for you
