So Elena said yes? A bit odd we didn't get to see that moment. And poor Javier getting yelled at by her about the dress. Elena was being mean. But it made sense when we realized she wanted her dress to look like her moms. (BTW did we know her mom was dead?) Also, Sean eating a cake that says 'bride and groom' is the DUMBEST thing ever, like hello wtf are you doing? How can he be so stupid. If I were Elena I would have demanded he pay for a replacement.
OMG Ben!!! He looks good! But what, he doesn't want to be a paramedic he wants to be a doctor??? I don't know why the heck is he going this route when he really can't handle it. I love Ben but he is not studious or book smart. I just think it's too hard for him and it requires too much. I don't think he is cut out for this career. But damn, seeing Ben late for his class was so sad. It really wasn't his fault but he should have closed the cafe or something? Idk. I can see why he was mad at Felicity. She should have left the line to get to him on time, but I dont think she knew that he had to be somewhere important.
Felicity's father is so annoying. Her dad likening art to "crafts" is so insulting. And the way he speaks to her like she's a little kid is just so obnoxious. Good for her telling him she didn't need him or his money and left! Family and love shouldn't come with strings or rules. I understand if he doesnt want to pay for things after college, but he should stick it through her senior year. What a jerk.
THE ENDING HAS ME FUMINGGGGGGGG. FELICITY F**KED UP HARD!!!! What she was going through sucked but it was not a good enough reason imo to mess up her entire relationship. Cheating is bad enough but to do it with frickin Noel? UGH, I'm so angry about this. Despite how annoying Avery was, Ben never cheated and at least he told Felicity when he was having doubts. I am so mad at her right now.

Felicity had no business spending the summer with Noel basically alone knowing he kissed her. It was screwed up from the start. They should have remained friends only.
Yes we found out in S1 Elena’s mom died. When that idiot she dated cheated with one of her childhood friends we find out how her friend was there for her during the time period of Elena losing her mom.
Sean eating the cake was so dumb. A wedding cake is impossible to confuse with a random cake for casual eating.
I didn’t understand his pre-med desire until 4.5. It finally made sense but in 4.1 it seems like it just appeared.
I think Ben got pissed off at Felicity for basically nothing just to conjure up additional drama, which would supposedly lead to Felicity reaching a breaking point in doing the nasty.
Shame on the writers for going there.
Yes, this episode showed supposedly the walls closing in on Felicity in all directions… family life, romantic life, future career… which supposedly played a part in the cheating. I hate it.
I still cannot wrap my brain around why she cheated. It wasn’t due to truly wanting to be with Noel.
Avery and Ben kissed and he never told Felicity and the entire Avery disaster was emotionally terrible for Felicity. But yes, she should have broken up with Ben before ever feeling like she needed Noel in that stupid way in 4.1 due to the issues she was having in many areas of her life.
