Yeah, posting can feel like a chore when I feel like if I am not posting X amount each day, I’m letting the board down. I can do better. I’ve been on forums for many, many years. Even before I joined
, at a time when forums were really popular. It was more popular here back in the day as well. We would get to 300 posts in a thread within 30 minutes or less. There were more guidelines for moderators, rules and expectations. I remember one was having to make 25 posts daily. Things have significantly loosened up since then, but I always felt like I had to make as many posts as possible, in as many threads as possible, as a good moderator. But that’s me being hard on myself. It just sucked a little of the fun away. Whereas now, I can post on whichever threads I want to and not post on a thread for a couple I don’t love.
There were a lot of shipper wars back in the day too and I remember I had to remain as neutral as possible.
I’m speaking of a different forum, but I can imagine that
was similar at the height of forum popularity.
Less busier nowadays but I would say better overall.
Less strict and more freedom! It’s hard though to try and be easier on myself.
You want to always strive for your best.
Graphics Team, as well as the other teams, are different with different tasks.
You’re right.
