I enjoyed book 2.
I did think Pip was acting out of line and reckless at times but I do like that she’s not a one dimensional character and we see her flaws and all.
I’m glad Jamie was alive. I was a bit suspicious of the father but I knew it would be too much to go that route again.
I wasn’t expecting the Child Brunswick thing but I liked that the cat fishing thing was more than just a scamming for money thing.
It was also interesting to see that there was an accusation of faking it all for the podcast.
And I wasn’t too surprised about the verdict as sad/maddening as it was because it happens in real life all the time.
Overall I liked the first book more.
