sometimes i have to remind people at work and others, that Memorial Day is when you honor the past generations, from war dead, battle honorees, to the few still living from the past wars, whether you agree with the wars or not. i very much agree that not every war we fought was clearly defined, just, and without collateral damage, but people still sacrificed their lives and health, so we today could debate those wars, without repression and totalitarianism.

thanks everyone, for your service and sacrifice, from the 1770s to 2022. the ideal still stands, but it needs work.
