Wow, what a joke all around. Yes I get the feeling like Williamson felt stupid for trying to write a series finale knowing he abandoned the show. The irony is his ending was completely fitting. But the network and people like Stupin took advantage of Williamson feeling like he wasn’t as powerful as he was in the first two seasons. Berlanti was already doing Everwood so he didn’t have any power either. Berlanti might have come up with the lame PJ idea (temporary because he was pro-DJ) but he hated how it ended and said as much (stating DJ should have ended up together). He only says this if he’s truly pissed and separated completely from the show. He got it right with Everwood.
